I'm sure subconsciously, people think those who are overweight need to be "punished" for their lack of control. i.e. months of misery on a diet.

Thanks for the (much needed) advice. I suppose "consult your doctor" IS the obvious thing to do. Never-the-less, I might try some scrambled eggs tonight, just to see how I get on. What's the worst that can happen? -

That's some impressive weight loss! And you still look most attractive, too! In my personal opinion, some people don't always look better after losing weight, but you look fab!

Thanks for the encouragement - There's no pain now, but I could definately use a sausage sandwich(!) :-) Psychologically, I can cope with this, 'cause I know I couldn't physically acomodate one.

I had mine done on August 23rd... Everything A-OK so far. Amusingly enough, My surgeon's name was "Dr. Nick"... Now if you've watched the simpsons, you'll know what I mean. EVERY OPERATION FOR $29.95!

I'm from The UK... Technically, that counts as Europe! I had my band fitted a week ago. Back to work tomorrow. The procedure cost me £7000
