I'm in Santa Rosa Ca, in the wine country. I was sleeved at Kaiser South San Francisco.

Hi 9ers! Post op appt today. Officially off bp meds and down 14 lbs! Doing really well with food but having a hard time getting the water in. 7 days after surgery I had to have another operation to put a stent in my kidney and have another surgery scheduled for next week to have it taken out. Recovery hasn't gone as I had hoped but dropping a pound or two everyday certainly helps keep my mind off the other things. Hope you're all doing great!

Sleeved on the 9th. The second day my worst. Hard to get in protein and water. Unfortunately 6 days out I got a kidney stone (unrelated) but put me back in the hospital. I had another surgery last night to put s stent in my kidney. My recovery has been anything but normal, but I can easily say that the VSG was much more tolerable! Down 10 lbs!

I too had surgery on the 9 of March and felt the same way! Thank you for posting this! I was able to have some cream soup yesterday as well as cottage cheese and yogurt and did very well. It's definitely scary when you start eating again because you don't want to over do it. My gas pains are finally gone and I'm feeling much better today.
