When does the hair loss slow down? I was sleeved on November 6, 2015 and I am 7 months out. My hair is still falling out. I am taking all my vitamins and Biotin and I am getting most of my protein in. I don't wont to cut it off but looks like I don't have many choices!

Good luck! So excited for you. I am going on 7 months and I love my sleeve. NO complications but several stalls so don't freak out when you go thru it. Just part of the process.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard! I am 47 and I wished my insurance would have paid for it 12 years ago so that I could have enjoyed life a lot more. I missed doing the little things like crossing my legs, getting up and down with my grandkids, not wearing bathing suit in public or shorts.... the list goes on. There are many many surgeons that perform this type of surgery and I would not waste another day on this physician. I only wished I had done this years ago. I have now lost 75lbs and I feel AMAZING!!! I never get tired of hearing how great I look. I love going places again with my husband. Good luck and enjoy life! -

I was sleeved on November 6, 2015 and I have lost 73 lbs. I have lost the last 3 lbs over and over for the last month or so. I stay so hungry all the time now. IS anyone else having these problems? I crave sweets all the time. Help!!!! I do not want to gain back what I have lost but I never thought I would be dealing with these issues so soon. Thanks.

I tried the frozen meals and experienced a weight stall. When I stopped eating them my weight loss started back. I went to protein smoothies and cooking up meat for a week. Good luck

Hair loss following surgery
m.sexton replied to saj54539@yahoo.com's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am washing my hair every 3 days and that is helping me. I do not even run a brush or comb thru my until the 3rd day. I just throw my head over and blow dry each day and use my fingers. it has really been helping. I don't stress so much now when I wash my hair and see how much comes out. -

Yes I would. IF they were murdered then the answer would be NO!!! I purchased my home 11 years ago and a young mother of 3 passed away with cancer. She ended up passing away in the house. I have never had any issues with it and the children were able to use the money for themselves. Sounds to me like God opened up a door for you to walk thru. Good luck on your decision.

There is no sugar coating this. Looks like he has moved on and so should you! I am on my 2nd marriage and I know exactly how you feel. I promise it does get better but you need to stop talking to him and continue on with your new life. Stay busy and every day it gets better. Try and find a new hobby or better yet buy you a puppy! That will keep you busy enough and keep your mind on something other than him. A best friend would never hurt you and would be there for you in your time of need....so your idea of a best friend and my idea must be totally different. If that was me you would only have to tell me once instead of letting him use you as a door mat. Only you can take up for yourself and by that you need to stop all communications! A ex is an ex for a reason. Good luck and I know you can do this. Someone great is waiting on you out there!

It is now 5 months should I be stalling like this! I lost majority of my weight the 1st and 2nd month every since month 3 it has been super slow!!!! Anyone else going thru the same thing I am? I just want to scream

How can I take 70g of protein a Day HELP!
m.sexton replied to leonelbreton's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I put a scoop of unjury Protein powder in my greek Yoplait yogurt (21grams of protein in the unjury and the yogurt has 13 grams ) you get 34 grams in that one setting. Taste great too. -
Thanks everyone. I guess I just needed to hear someone else tell me.

I am walking every day and zumba 3 times a week.

I have been sleeved for 4 months now and for the last couple of weeks I have been at a stall since I started exercising. I know its muscles but it is still so aggravating not seeing my scales move!!! I had to get serious with my exercise because at my last dr visit I was told I was losing muscle and that is the last thing I need to worry about is looking like 1/2 my face has fell off. I hope this stall leaves soon. Anyone else having this problem. Thanks.
