So I am 2.5 years post gatric bypass and have kept the weight off but would still like to lose 30 more lbs and have hit the wall. I signed up for weight watchers tracking just for a change of pace. I have a weird quetion for anyone who has tried this. We all know that feeling when something hits you wrong right after you eat it and you throw it right back up. Do you get those points back? I know it seems like a stupid question but I would like to track points properly if I am going to pay for it. TIA

I have Been Post Op for 2 years and am tired of wine. Anyone know of any non-carbonate beverages that are tasty? I want something like Twisted Tea but pretty sure it is carbonated.

My wife and I basically eat different meals every night. I am almost a year out and we still eat different meals.

When did you folks start eating without feeling bad? I still have many things I can't tolorate. Tonight I steamed some carrots and threw them up...same thing with salad, rice, beef and anything heavy. Just a few bites and I feel awful. Not over eating just not agreeing with my stomach. Anyone still have these problems or have any stories?

Like I said it is much easier to get used to post surgery. Before it is tough but I am sure you will do well!Yeah I understand the purpose, I just was curious of at some point your head got used to it?

The goal is to lose weight pre-op to make surgery easier. That is why some have 10 days or 2 weeks. I lost 20 lbs in 10 day liquid diet so it is a positive

The liquid diet pre-surgery is hard because technically you can have all your favorites you are just not supposed to. After it is easier because you are not that hungry and only eating because you are supposed to.

So I am 3.5 months post-op and began having abdominal pain yesterday. It is not a terrible pain but more of a dull side ache type pain. Anyone experienced this a few months out?

I am 3 months post-op and my diet has been a slow progression. What kinds of things are you guys that are 3 months out eating?
I have tried chicken and it doesn't agree with me. Ground beef is the same. I have been able to handle pepperoni and deli ham. I eat lots of refried Beans and cheese as well.
I am getting a little board and up for any suggestions.

I was told over 70 grams of Protein and under 70 grams of Carbs until I can get to 1200 calories and than over 100 and under 100. My NUT set up myfitness pal for me

i did it on my own. The only thing my surgeon recorded was weight.

@@JengaBee I think you will find in the long run that the surgery is well worth it. I am 4 months post op and I don't regret it at all.
I am not going to lie to you...This is one of the tougher things you will do. I can't tell you how many times I have tried a new food and gotten sick. It is downright awful and painful, but it is so worth it.
I walked out of the Hospital off my blood pressure medicine which I didnt think was possible. The close I wore before the surgery now look downright silly. Sometimes I wear them just so I know where I was.
If we could lose weight on our own we would, This surgery was the only option for me.

i am not trying to be judgemental but why are you attempting to eat so much? Bypass is just a tool. It isbon you to not eat so much. If your pouch was conpleted properly it is surely expanded now.
