-
P90x is a great tool, but some of it is really hard. If you stick to it, you will see amazing results. I have them and I love them. Woodsy

How are you doing with your bodybugg? Have you had any problems with it?

Hey Ken, I am from Michigan and I am about 9months out and I have lost about 40lbs. I am happy with my band and I think it works if you work with it. I am happy with my results, I am just now at my "sweet spot" with my fills. It took longer than I thought, but I have arrived and am looking forward to speedy weight loss. Keep up the good work! -
I can barely eat 1/4 cup of food!

My dietician said they don't know why is swells, it just does. I can't even drink a cold protein shake in the morning. I have to have coffee or hot tea before I can have anything cold. Not a breakfast person anyway so the shakes are fine with me in the am. After I work out, it seems like I can't eat much either. Don't know why that happens either does anyone? -
Hi, I am in Michigan also. My Dr. is Dr. Schram in Ypsilanti. I have a 9cc realize band and I have 7.5cc in it. I could probably get more, but I am at a point right now that if I get more, then I won't be able to eat much of anything and that is not how I want to live. I am getting a bit of heart burn which I never had before and I know that is a sign of a band getting too tight. From the sounds of it, you have a Lapband, not a Realize band. I don't know if there is a difference in the way you feel when you eat, but my sis has the lapband 11cc and she only has 6.25 in hers and she can only take 3 bites of food before she has to stop. What if he fills it up the 13? maybe you would get restriction then. Are you challenging your band with meats and not just eating squishy foods? If I eat mexican food, I can scarf down quite a bit and never feel any restriction. I think it just slides right on thru.

I had a bruise from a trocar, it lasted for about 3 months. The doc saw it and immediatley appologized for giving me the bruise. I have no idea why it lasted so long, but now I am fine (7 months out)

Unjury is a protein shake. It only has 80 Calories and it tastes okay. You can goto their website and order samples. My friend called them and they sent her some samples. -

SMWWW, I am 5'10" and weigh 238. I have been the same weight (up or down 2 pounds) for this entire month and no matter how little I eat, it never moves. I was thinking maybe I need to exercise to build more muscle mass so my metabolic rate will increase. I am just frustrated right now and can't figure this out. My sister has the band and says she only eat 3 bites at a time, but eats all day long. She eats 2400 cals a day and has maintained her 100 weight loss, so I ask where am I going wrong here? I can eat a lot of soft foods like mexican foods, but oatmeal and puddings don't go down well. salad, I can eat about 2 cups of lettuce and veggies. The later in the day, the more I can eat. Why is that? -

SMWWW, I really struggle with how much I should eat. The Dr. said 1 cup of food, but sometimes I can eat a lot more and sometimes I can only eat a few bites. I haven't lost a lot of weight, but I exersice like crazy. I think I am eating too much or not enough?? I use the realize site to track every morsel of food that I put into my mouth. I usually eat between 1000 to 1700 per day. -

It is normal to feel tighter in the morning, I can never eat anything except protein shakes in the am. Swelling occurs at night and this is very normal. I have found that when I feel like I can't eat anymore, if I get up and walk around, that feeling goes away and I can take a few more bites. My brain just can't deal with only eating 3 bites of my dinner and being done, beside, I don't feel that is healthy either. Walking helps alot. -
Hi, I think I have finally gotten to my sweet spot. I can eat very little food compared to when I had 6cc in my band. I have a 9cc Realize band. It stops me from eating more than a cup of food every time. But, it has only been a week since my last fill. My Dr said everyone is different, but most people fall in the 6.5-8cc range of fills. I can't eat anything except liquids until about noon.

I would go and see my doctor and maybe get a small fill?? Look at your before pics and see how far you have come, don't quit now, you can do it! Find someone to exercise with you, that always helps. Get back on the wagon, you will feel great about yourself! Keep the faith. J-
