    A List of Goals

    Im going to set my goal to March 1, 08...to be 210. Its about 70 more lbs. Its a pretty high goal...but Im going to work my butt off to try and reach it.

    Sodium in all my liquids . . .

    Chris...I recently noticed all the sodium in my Sf waters (propelle, nutrilite) and started just drinking plain water. I was stalled for a few days, and since just drinking water..I lost a few lbs more...I know its hard, when all you can have is liquid. Im in the same boat as you. You get bored easily. I think you can get some low sodium broth as well...

    Congrats!! Good job on your loss...I lost 16 in one week..its nice to know i wont be gaining it back. have you been working out at all?
  6. Still on Clear liquids including 3 Protein shakes a day.... I cant wait till the pureed food stage. only 3 more weeks!

    Steph, Im in the same boat as you, Each morning I take my 7 year old to school, so i have to pack up my 2 year old and 4 month old, just for the 10 min drive...which is when i usually drink my shakes... Ill have to try the Protein you're talking about... And yes, i think I know the funnel feeling you're talking about.... I cant wait till we get all these quirks figured out..

    Steph, Im in the same boat...Its hard for me to get my Water in too, because im paranoid about drinking too fast, too much, stretching my pouch..ect... I do have a question about your shakes, though....When I make mine, I put 4 oz of water and 2 scoops of Protein mix (i use the Body Fortress) and i sip that..and when i say sip, i take a sip..wait 3-4 mins, take another sip..wait...ect... Do you do that? IF not, how do you do it? and how do you get your water in? It seems like it takes me 2 hours sometimes, just to finish a glass of water, because I either forget, or drink slow..

    Steph, Im sorry...i totally forgot to mention, clear liquids INCLUDING protein shakes...im supposed to have 90g of protein a day, but yeah, just liquids...crystal light, broth, water, popsicles..ect..

    I had my surgery on the 12th,and I still feel pretty sore on the inside. I cant really lay on my stomach, or side, either. So, i am forced to lay on my back. yuck. But, its getting better..thats for sure. My insiscions look good, healing..and ive lost 16lbs. I guess my only complaint is that im starving. Give it time, as each day passes, you feel better.

    9th day post op

    Dude, me too...Im 8 days post-op and it feels like i could literally eat a cow. im starving. But mostly, bored to DEATH of the liquids. I have 3 more weeks of this....

    stomach sleepers

    Im a stomach sleeper and I havent been able to sleep on my stomach yet...I miss it...My port site is still really sore...I havent tried to feel it yet... It sorta feels like a pulled muscle..they attatch it to your muscle so it feels sore..but a little worse...

    recovery & lifting?

    Hey...I have 3 little ones and i have to lift them up too. BUT, unfortunetly, my dr said I had to wait for 2 weeks before i could lift anything over 5lbs...So, my husbands had to help a lot. Now, i did get a hernia fixed during my surgery, so I dont know if that makes a difference...Id ask your Dr. Good luck to ya

    Im jealous...I have to be on Clear liquids for 4 weeks post op. I have about ..say..3 weeks to go. Id say if you didnt over eat..and watered it down..then no, i wouldnt say its a cheat...unless your Dr's said to stay on liquids longer... Keep strong...stay the course..

    Post-Op diet

    So, Ive been reading..and it looks like all of us have different rules for the post-op diet, from our physicians. I have to be on a CLEAR liquid diet for 4 weeks, following my surgery. That includes 60g of Protein shakes a day. doesnt that seem a bit..strict to you? Thoughts?

    Anyone sweaty?

    If the gas, and having 6 cuts on my belly weren't attractive enough....Today, was the first day I went out of the house really, and did some shopping since being banded on the 12th. I felt sick to my stomach, and sweaty, and just...tired...from walking around shopping for about an hour... anyone else experience this?

    Post-Op Liquids

    Just curious to see what your Dr's have said regarding post op liquids and how long you're to be on them. Im to be on liquids, basically Clear Liquids PLUS tomoto Soup, including Jello, popsicles, crystal light, broth, diluted juice...ect... for a total of 4 weeks. Just wondering what your dr's have said.....

    Where did you buy the new-whey? babyphat, You are probably lightheaded and weak because you're not getting enough Protein. Id look for a whey protein based drink/shake, and have about 90g's of protein a day. thats what my dr's advised...

    Babyphat, Hi and welcome... I too am getting tired of the fake sugar taste....i find that when im tired of that, its best to have some broth. you know, mix it up a bit..
