    Comfort Zone...Blown! Boudoir Pics :-)

Hot diggity. You look adorable in some and sexy as anything in others. Good for you.
  2. @@wwboy -- Let me be the first to say, "They've seen it all." In other words, "There's little that they haven't seen." I'd be surprised if the staff doesn't have the products you use at home, even if not the brand names.

    I f*****g love protein shakes!

What's this? Is anyone paying attention?
  4. Bought a spaghetti squash today, the first in eons. It will be the foundation of a brilliant concoction and I can't wait to chow down. The hardest part is cutting it open raw.

That's what I've heard. Maybe someday. Sorry the link doesn't work. If you do want to take a look, just copy over. But you knew that.

I nearly lost a hand trying to cut the damn thing open. It honestly has turned me off from making one again. I've gotten used to not eating pasta with sauce anyhow.

Cutting a hard squash is a feat. It needs a super-sharp knife which can be just as nervous-making as any other.

    Happy Veterans Day

@@B-52 -- It was such a painful time in many ways. I know exactly of what you speak and feel so sorry that you and so many were subjected to any of it. Kinda sorta tongue-cheek-joke, it was clear. I think I wrote a note there in the same vein. At least I hope the vein was pulsing visibly.

I had a terrible day UGH! Help?

@@cal2okl -- I have no suggestions for not indulging in junk food. What I do suggest is not wasting time and burning energy over "extra guilty." Guilt is a futile, often self-indulgent, emotion that sets you back from finding workable strategies. This of course is not to say I'm exempt, but I try to remind myself when I'm rolling in it. (It was decades ago that my view of guilt evolved from something unrelated to food or weight.)

    Happy Veterans Day

@@B-52 -- Thanks for the explanation. I was puzzled at first, thinking you were too young to have been in Vietnam. Your profile corrected that...as did recalling your talking about the bothersome flirting you have to put up with. I'm a few years older (ssshh) than you and, years later, was amazed that the first time I was aware of knowing someone who'd been there was 1980. I had to have known people much earlier, but the subject hadn't come up.

@@KindaFamiliar - How odd this is. Who thinks about long division? Think of how many people have never heard of it since the advent of "new math (is it called that where you are?)" and the abacus. It came to mind yesterday as I thought about my father and things he taught me when I was a child. Long division bedeviled me in 6th grade; he got me through. When I can't get hold of a calculator, it's long division to the rescue. Not even pumpkin pie? My first taste was in my 30's (honest) and it's been love ever since. This season I've pumpkified myself in other ways. It's a short season.
  10. How very cool to read three women's updates, almost in a row, about downhill-rolling clothing sizes.

@@OKCPirate -- The version I heard involved complaints of the Brits: Americans were: Overfed Oversexed Over here To which the Americans retorted: Underfed Undersexed Under Eisenhower nb: I googled to be sure I was recalling it correctly and found others from the lists, new to me: Overpaid v. Underpaid. Let's play nicely.

    My Revision - it's complicated :)

@@shark23 -- Thanks for filling in the blanks. I agree, I need someone who will talk to me and answer questions regardless of the field of medicine. Wishing you great happiness, comfort and success from here on.

@@OKCPirate -- This segment of the Bob Hope tribute must have been preceded by some show biz people toasting him. Yours, however, is so much more: Who else belonged there than the people who'd been given a breather. Very moving. @@B-52 -- WIll you take a minute to identify the ribbons? @@BLERDgirl -- if you'd intended to put a link in there, you did what I do too often. Please get the link. Thank you. @@shark23 -- You have my condolences on the loss of your mother. I also appreciate your posting your experience, as it's useful to others facing band removal, as I may be. A piece of info that you omitted may be significant to others. You sought a seconf opinion when you had misgivings after discussing sleeve with the first surgeon. Do you mean that you didn't have enough faith in him/her or that you wanted a second opinion as part of your decision-making, that is, to see if a second surgeon had the same opinion as the first?

Maybe I should not have surgery?

@@Jangy03253 -- I'm completely confused on who is competing with you for your husband. His mother? His daughter? Both? In any case it's unhealthy, but there are underlying reasons. May I ask your, your husband's and his daughter's ages? Does the daughter live with you? Is her mother living? Miss Mac asked why your husband isn't speaking up for you. There's something else he isn't doing: Standing up for the life he wants.

    Carbonated diet caffeine free drinks?!

@@volsfan82 -- I smell the old take-a-poll ploy, no relation to whack-a-mole. "If I don't like what my surgeon tells me, I'll take a poll elsewhere and interpret the responses as I please."

    Confused by Soup

@@jobillandjosh -- If that's what's confusing to you, be glad the list doesn't include alphabet soop. You'd really be thrown into a confused tizzy. Liquid, as in "not all liquids are forbidden." About to be single!

True, but two things are at play: A post or letter or almost any communication implies a request for response, even if mere acknowledgement. If the post omits details or doesn't name the type of response that's hoped for, the people who respond go ahead as they see appropriate. All we can do is our best with what we're given, maybe read between the lines a little, and then write from our own views of life.
