I ate about 8 teaspoon size portions of mince the other night which I am allowed to eat now but today I can't eat even 2 teaspoon size portions? Is this normal??? I'm 15 days post

I'm afraid to even weigh myself! I had surgery on Tuesday and I actually feel huge. I know it's likely because everything inside is still swollen and I'm still working out a lot of gas so I do know in my head that I haven't gained any weight. Just don't think my heart could handle seeing a higher number on the scale. I think I'm gonna wait until I'm al least walking upright lol It's completely normal to even put on a few lbs in first few days due to the fluids they give U during surgery and after! It can take up to a week after surgery to start losing it all, I went up 4lb after surgery and then only lost it bout a week ago and I am 16days post

Yea that's how I am, I can barely eat today or yesterday but day before I cud eat with breaks Inbetween fine

No it just seems to be one day I can barely eat and next day I can have a bit more

Emotionally no I am struggling but I am having to reduce my anti depressants and start new ones so that Isn't helping me! Also I started on my 2nd phase and 2 days ago I cud eat 8 teaspoons of mince and today i can't even eat 2! I don't understand why it wud b like that

Hi I had sleeve surgery on 13th and so I am 5days post op and although I am miles better I have these obscene noises (bit like when Ur tummy rumbles when Ur hungry) in my stomach area Everytime I have a mouth of liquid and for an hour after! It's so bad that mum can hear it across the room! Is this normal??

I am so confused! I keep being told I can fit 150ml in my stomach of liquid or a small saucer of something like porridge ect but I don't seem to manage it! I am barely eating and drinking I am getting a pint in at most! When I drink I sip and I get to bout 4 sips and start getting wind noises and feel a bit sick so I am believing that shows I am full up! But people keep telling me I shud b able to have more than that! But I don't know if it is i am full or not

I'm having to go back a step for a few days as I have tried a few things last 2 days only 1-2 teaspoon full each time and become extremely exhausted, nauseous and my heart rate starts thumping very quickly, I'm so annoyed as I felt much happier starting the next phase and now I am back to the start again :-(

Yes I think Alot of it is hormonal it's just so frustrating! I had potato and mince tonight and it was amazing but I ended Up eating too much cause I can't work out when I am full and then I got bad pains and cramps and thought I was going to vomit

It is so very hard not to swig a drink down quickly when Ur thirsty isn't it! I am struggling bout it

I hope it gets better cause I have 3 kids to look after and the baby sitter can't help for much longer!

I get it when I eat! I have 2 mouthfuls and I get this gurgling feeling and pain in my chest then It goes after I have stopped eating for a while

Hi I am very curious to know different ppl's losses over a 6 month period! My dr believes i will lose 6-8 stone (84-100lbs) in 6 months has anyone had that sort of success???

I agree completely I regret it but it's cause I am not happy with the fact I now can't "eat myself happy" we have a support group once a month where I had mine done so I am going to go to that and mayb talk it through

I'm 2 weeks post op now and still feel unwell, extreme exhaustion, feel sick, trying new things like Weetabix and I am gonna try scrambled egg soon but it's just a case of too exhausted to try

Mine is ending in 48 hours but to get to the 48 hours is hell! I then have to start introducing soft stuff and it just isn't the same now! I used to be excited bout my meals and I was gonna have certain food and now I actually don't want to eat cause I get depressed! It sounds bizarre and it is but it's also stressful to feel this way

Wow everyone's losses R amazing! I have lost including pre op 40lb I have another 150lb to go!

Ok thank u, I had awful trouble for 3 days after my surgery but now I'm on day 9 and it's like I never had surgery where fluids R concerned! Ice cream gives me awful gurgling noises when I have it so Mayb it's telling me that I am full!
