    CANT DEAL

    I can't deal with this! Had my surgery 13th March and I am on liquids only and I have 2 weeks to go as I was ill on Tuesday so they want me to restart the 2 weeks :-( I am pulling my hair out' ppl are eating chocolate, pizza, macdonalds around me and I just wana cry
  2. I feel for u I am in exactly the same boat! I am 67lb down and stuck!! Joining a gym today but I dunno if it will work! Got awful hayfever but only things that work knock me out and I have 3 kids to deal with all day! I used to love fish, now I eat it and I want to vomit, chicken makes me feel like it's stuck and I haven't even tried lamb, only thing that seems to be sort of ok is mince, but even that is horrible, I am in the UK so things are bit different here

    I'm 10 weeks out, and I eat about 500-650 calories per day. I avoid Pasta, bread, rice, anything really sweet, I feel sick to my stomach when I attempt to consume them. 3 weeks into my journey I hit a stall, and now the weight is coming off very slowly. My 3 month appointment is scheduled for the first week of May and I'm nervous about going since my surgeon made me feel bad about my 3 week stall. I keep having stalls and they are frustrating but don't feel bad some people it doesn't drop off others it does! I am 10 weeks out also and I have dropped 71lb so far!

    Usually they don't have a big meal at dinner time as they have one at lunch at school so I give them something light usually egg on toast or beans on toast or toast with Vegemite or jam, today I have eaten 550 cals but I don't feel that it's enough!

    Hi girls and guys! I am from the UK and I am struggling with cooking decent healthy meals, I just get fed up with cooking such a little amount and still not being able to eat it all, I end up throwing it away as I hate to reheat stuff it tastes awful to me! I lived on take aways cause I hated cooking! I am just not sure! Some days I end up not eating at all, it slips my mind cause I am dealing with my 3 kids so forget as i fall into bed when they do and sparks out U will lose sizes! I have gone down 2 sizes and am in the middle of a size at present which is so frustrating but I have lost 71lb and it's been 2 months since my op

    I am 2 months out and 63lb down but I am struggling to find food to eat! I can eat anything really but I have gone to a point where I can go a whole day without eating, get up the next morning then realise I didn't eat day before, I can't find easy meals I can do without ending up having lots left over and goes to waste

    Hey yea I Am just over a month in and still adjusting, I have the rare upset day but remembering to chew is my worst bit, we went away to peppa pig world (it's in UK) for 48 hours and only thing I cud have was chicken bites from Mac Donald's well I ate 2 and thought I wud throw up as I was in so much pain from eating too quickly, nothing tastes the same, it all tastes weird now, I'm guessing taste buds are changing as well as our stomachs

    Hi yes I was doing a bit better but I am now feeling sick all the time if I do eat I feel sick if I don't eat I feel sick! I am now doing walking round the local park while my kids scooter and I push my baby boy in his buggy, so I am getting some exercise! I have had a blip where I haven't lost any weight in 2 weeks nearly but I am trying to exercise to help lose some! Another 2 weeks and I can start swimming which is great as my daughters go back to school next week,

    Due to the gas it can expand it back out! How do u think we expanded our stomachs in the first place! The one I see is extremely renounced in his profession has 12 different clinics and is called all over the world to do the operations on people so I think I may just listen to his advice as he wud clearly know what he is going on about I wud of thought lol! And we met one of his failures the other day at support meeting as they r coming back again 2 try a by pass instead, and they admitted that they lived on fizzy drinks and beer and take aways and regained the lot!

    I had my consultation appointment this morning and asked him if it can stretch and he said yes u can stretch it! Over eating and fizzy drinks will make it stretch over time! It wud take a few years to stretch but it can and on 10% of sleeves it does!

    I eat oats but I make oatmeal fro scratch. They have a bit of Protein and because I make them myself they aren't as bad nutritionally as the prepackaged stuff. I eat between 600-900 each day that is including my drinks also as I can have no added sugar and drink milkshake or plain milk food intake is between 400-600 dailyMy total food, drink, everything is never over 800. If you are moving onto food, you should decrease the amount of Protein Drinks you are using. Also we were advised to use lowfat or skim milk (I drink unsweetened almond milk) because of the high fat content. I'll try and upload the pages for the 3 - 4 food plan from my program in a few. Hey I use skimmed milk with everything I do have! I don't have protein drinks I have no added sugar juice and skimmed milk as I can't drink just Water as I vomit
  17. Well today I totally stuffed up! I am 3 weeks post and ate a whole packet (121g) of maltesers thru the course of 3 hours this evening! I feel so awful mentally not physically cause I did it! I also went out to eat with my 3 kids and my mum and we went Toby carvery and it was so funny as my girls had bigger plates of food than I did! I ate about 20g Turkey 50g mash and had loads of gravy to make it mushy! I also had a 50g size Yorkshire! took me about half hour to eat it, it didn't make me feel ill or anything I felt comfortably full not sick full! Over in uk it goes 1-2 weeks liquids 2-4 weeks soft foods 4-6 weeks start introducing harder stuff! But my consultant suggested I tried meats as long as I chew to a mush which I did! I am at a stall at moment and actually gained 3kg but it's my time of the month in next few days so I am not shocked!!!!! Hope everyone else is doing well!

    That's what I thought was very odd myself, i am going to a support group tomorrow so I will be asking other people's advice aswell

    Hi yea I don't mind u asking, no I got no diet plan just liquids 1-2 weeks weeks 2-4 soft foods, then 4+ introduce solids. My dietician who I see once a month and talk to when needed on phone has said its fine eating pasta and bread etc just eat some protein with it and eat that first then the pasta or bread if U can fit it in!

    Hi I am being as good as possible! I am doing a weekly meal plan tomorrow to try to help me keep to the programme! I have had a few little slips! I haven't gone over 1,000 kcals so I am hoping it's ok!

    I am now on 1 week where it has actually gone up not down! I have put on 4lb and I am getting really annoyed I haven't weighed myself since I saw the 4lb go on and that was 5 days ago so I am waiting to see my dietician and go to my support group and hope it's all gone or I haven't at least put anymore on!

    Mine went within a week I cud drink but U have to have sips every 10 mins roughly I find and I am 3 weeks post and still having to do it
