Just wondering if anyone else's surgeon said "no ice"? He said it causes gas. I miss ice. I hate water as it is so drinking it luke warm isn't doing it for me. Is anyone using ice and if so has it caused any issues for you? I'm 11 weeks post RNY. Thanks!

Lol! I'm 6 weeks post-op today and the scale hasn't budged in a week. I know to expect it but I hate it!!

Thank you so much that makes me feel a bit better. When you read about people having trouble and I'm having none, was starting to wonder.

Yep, I've taken to eating at my desk because I'm pretty over all the unsolicited advice!! -
Okay so call me crazy tomorrow I will be six weeks post RNY and I have been reading all the different post people are putting up for many weeks without seeing this subject. Is it possible that my surgeon wouldn't have made my pouch small enough. I am following my doctor and nutritionist orders pretty clearly and I'm on pretty much full food now. I never eat more than about 4 ounces in a sitting but I noticed some people say they can't even get an ounce of food in for 3and 4 months post surgery. I've lost 39 lbs since total including pre-op. I have still not really felt full and thank goodness have not had any dumping. But as crazy as it sounds I almost wish I had had these things so I wouldn't know that my pouch was right, does that make sense? I'm sure everything's fine but after having the lap band fail I want to know this is going to work. Has anybody else out there felt like their pouch was too big or they could eat too much too soon?

This is probably a good question for the lady veterans out there. Call me vain if you must but I am really worried about what losing a lot of weight over a short time will do to my face. You know every big girl has heard it, what a pretty face, well I don't want to suddenly be smaller with a wrinkled or sagging face? Any tips or products that you could suggest would be greatly appreciated . Thanks Ladies!

lisaecho replied to lisaecho's topic in Gastric Bypass Surgery Forums
I am mostly talking about the abdominal pain. I feel so sore and gassy still and it's making me emotional. -
I had my lap been removed and revision to a gastric bypass surgery on Tuesday. I still feel like crap I'm very sore I've had a headache for days. Just wondering how long before I really feel better?

Oh I cut it off. Anyway later when I search cooking for my husband and myself . I don't wanted to get repetitive. And I am seriously afraid of dumping! I have been reading everything I can get my hands on.

I'm on day three of my pre-op diet having surgery on March 24. I'm doing fine on the pre-op diet and am not stressing about the surgery at all. But what is on my mind is eating after surgery. Not the healing diet for the next eight weeks so. Later when
