Im post-op 5 months and seem to be having issues with acne on my face and back. Haven't had acne issues since I was a teen. Ive been using an exfoliating cleanser but not really seeing any improvement. Anyone else having this issue?

I am 3 months out from surgery so able to eat regular diet. I eat protein first, followed by veggie of some kind. Rarely do I eat bread or carbs but if I do its in small amounts. I'm sure my diet has something to do with it sine I'm not getting a lot of fiber in it. I'm gonna try adding a fiber supplement and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestions. -
Ok I know its not the best subject to talk about, but I've had very soft stool to almost diarrhea every day, 4-6 times a day. Now I've got hemorrhoids from it and feel very uncomfortable. I went to my family dr, and he gave me a prescription cream for it which helps some. I had my surgery in Mexico so I don't have a bariatric doctor at home yet. Trying to find one to take me for follow up care is a challenge. Anyway, my family dr suggested increasing my fiber, but not sure if that is safe after having a bypass. Anyone have suggestions?

I am 3 months post-op and have lost 53 lbs. The first 2 months were rough. I had to eat every 2 hrs and it was like 1/2 cup or less of food. It was hard to get in water and I almost got dehydrated from not getting enough. But I kept working on trying to eat something, even if it was cottage cheese, every 2 hrs and when I was not eating I was drinking. It does get better. I dont think I get all the protein I need to and still struggle with that but its a work in progress. Hang in there!

Dr. Brad Watkins - Gastric Bypass?
jann0929 replied to nikkanoodles's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
He did my lapband, wonderful dr. My understanding is that he does all types of weight loss procedures. Unfortunately for me, the band was not successful as I had several band slips. So I went to Mexico to have my band removed and a mini bypass done. Doing better, lost 20 lbs so far. -
I had my surgery 2/24/15 also! I'm on shakes now. I use Adkins shakes I can drink about 1/2 a shake at a time.
