  1. 1st post op thanksgiving taught me that I can't tolerate my own sweet potato pie. It feels as though I swalloowed a lump of butter that rolls forcefully through my defensive system.

      Yes, I found the same thing with pumpkin. I wonder if it is the crust for me. I have had my own homemade pumpkin custard before with no problem. This was a few bites from a bakers square pumpkin pie. It was disgustingly sweet and a weird texture. Normally I make my own but just had back surgery and my hubby was insistent that I take short cuts on the bakery since I really don't eat it anyway.
