well it's been 1 month and I've lost 40 pounds... I go to get my little girl in 32 days and I am hoping to have lost another 30 by then. She's 12 and has never seen me under 300 pounds. What can I expect in the 2nd month? Do I keep losing or does it flatten out? Anyway guys I've started eating real food agin. I cook 4oz of chicken but never eat moe than 2, which is such a change from 6 weeks ago...

well fellas it looks like everything went the way it should. My liver was beautiful to quote Dr. Trotter and the surgery went great. The only issue I have is having to drink so much powdered mix everyday. It seems like I have to drink 1 oz an hour and it gets old quick... Anyway thx for all the well wishes and I'm glad I made this choice.

Well guys it has been 11 days since surgery. I have lost 18 pounds and 1 pant size... I dare say it has been a good experience so far. The only thing I don't like is the Bariatric Meal drinks I have to drink (7 a day). I am really looking forward to eating real food again even though I'm not really hungry right now. I have to say the sugar free popcicles have been a God send.... Without them I would have probably killed someone by now. Well gotta get back to being a loser... hehe

I haven't had any of the "head Hunger" but when people eat around me the smell makes me miss food but I don't get hungry... not yet anyway. Thanks guys for all the support. 19 days out and I'm down 24 pounds.

Guys, my surgery is Thursday 3/26/15 and I'm really nervous about my liver being to big. My doctor didn't put me on a special diet and doesn't really seem to be bothered by it. I just don't want him to cut me open and say oh jeez that liver is to big I can't operate.... It's been 8 months since I started this trip and I don't want to have it all fall apart right here at the end... Any encouraging words would be greatly appreciated. Billy 6'2" 375 lbs 33 yrs old

Thanks guys for all the good words. I'm not getting cold feet or second thoughts, just a little nervous. Never had real surgery before so it's a little scary knowing that I can't go back after Thursday. Any thing I should be aware of that you only find out after the surgery?
