What's up everybody? Well, I was approved by my insurance company last Monday for my surgery, & I get banded on 2/13! Anyway, I used to have a CRAZY sex drive, but the bigger I've gotten, the more I've lost my drive. I'm 28 & I'm wondering (moreso from a guys perspective; but definitely am curious about female insight) if the drive comes back w/ the loss of weight & if you are having some of the best sex of your life since you're performing w/ a smaller version of your former self?

Hey everybody, I'm pretty new to the board. . .my doc's office actually mentioned this sight. Anyway, I'm getting the surgery on Feb. 13. I started my liquid diet a couple of days ago, however, I did cheat tonight for a Superbowl party. . .anyway, I'm pretty sure I'll be good from here until surgery without any problems. So I'm really curious to how the banded people were the day/night before surgery? What were your nerves like? What kind of thoughts went through your head. . .What should I expect?

Ellebrooks. . .what is happening my Houston Hoosier partner! Yo, I get banded in 1 week! I'm taking a couple of weeks off work after that. . .we ought to hang out. . .I'm gonna need some support!

Kimmie K. . .trust me, if your husband says he loves you & will always want you, you've got a good start. With you being married, at least you do have some security in that you are w/ somebody who already loves you. After you get banded & supermodel-looking guys are stalking you, at least you'll know you're w/ somebody who loved you unconditionally! You guys will probably have some of the wildest days/nights of passion after you get banded & begin to feel good about you again. You're like a good investment. . .he loves you now & will continue to do so, but after you get back to feeling your best, he's gonna get a HUGE pay off!

Congrats!!! I go a week from today. What was the day of surgery like after the surgery as well as the following couple of days?

Awesome! My prayers are w/ you & I wish you the best. Please let me know your experience. . .my surgery is 1 week from tomorrow. I know you must be ecstatic! There must be a ton of possibilities going through your head.

That's funny. . .but it's actually a good thought. Lots of options in Bloomington who'd love to take advantage of your addiction w/ you! Plus, managing a sports bar. . .you'll be beating guys away w/ a stick.

. . .and if anybody tells you being a nympho is a bad thing. . .they must be practicing abstainance!

I can really seeing myself being a lot like that. I've got a feeling that I'm going to be hungry as heck & won't be able to sleep much. I'm already worried that this thing might not work, but I'm trying to have some faith. 100lbs ago, I was a pretty descent athlete & I'm really looking forward to being in the physical shape to start competing again. I just imagine that night before as being INSANE for me! 9 days to go & I've already got a ton of anticipation.

Hahaha! That's hilarious. . .I think as a guy the hope is to be able to make up for lost time:lol: Might not be the best thing to do, but hey, I look forward to some incredible passion!

Most definitely!!! Go Big Red! We have to wait before meeting up. . .you're 49lbs down (which is pretty cool) & I'm way back at the starting line:-( It's all good though. . .only 10 days to surgery!
