Hi there! I just saw your pictures and the status on how much you've lost! It's amazing! You are an inspiration I was banded on 6/17 so I'm still in the early stage of my journey.
Is it a lot easier to live healthy now as someone that has lost weight and is considered "normal" size or is it just as hard as when you were overweight? Thanks!

Just passing through checking out before and after pics - congrats! You look great!!!

You are very welcome and thanks in return for the compliment. How long did it take you to lose all the weight?

oh, just saw your other sweet comment about the hair thank you so much, but i have to confess: they're jessica simpson extensions!

congratulations!!! you're going to do great!! as far as the rate of weight loss -- i can't say it was fast, for sure. it took me about nine months to reach restriction because my doctor is super conservative with fills. in the first year i lost about 75 pounds, though, and i'm very happy with that!
hope your surgery and recovery go perfectly! all the best to you,

that's really good!! i'm impressed. i always think people should stick to what they're comfortable with -- not overdo it, because it's SO easy to get burnt out and run the other direction. obv the level that each person is comfortable with will be different, but figuring out what works is another part of this crazy journey... keep it up, you're doing great!

lol no I'm not sorry I asked. I am actually happy that someone is being truthfull and isn't all gym gung-ho ALL THE TIME. I know its possible to just be regular like ourselves and still be able to lose weight I am only on my 3rd week post op but have started just walking 30 min. on the treadmill and once I hit 6 weeks I hope to get into other things like strength training/toning.

hey! i have 7 point something CCs in a 10CC AP band. it took me nine months to get restriction because my doctor gives very conservative fills... it's okay, though, because once i finally hit my sweet spot i was good to go! as far as exercise goes, i'm really inconsistent.. i'll go several months exercising regularly (not A LOT, but a lot for me.. maybe 3-4 times a week, 45-60 minutes cardio, 5-10 minutes resistance training..). then i'll go several months where i don't really exercise at all, but i try to stay somewhat active -- walk to the grocery store, walk around the mall, etc. i'm not at ALL a poster child for healthy exercise habits, but i justify it by reminding myself that whatever i do to lose, i'll probably have to do to maintain, and i can recognize that i'm just not a really good exerciser, and i probably never will be (as much as i'd love to be). sorry you asked, huh?
