So glad u r thru it all and did so well. Yay! Now it alllll befins ????

If u drink more than you should, you will most likely throw up. Which is not fun. If theybsee it occur, they will understand more Im sure. Like the others, due to just having had surgery, walking is all that is recommended at this stage. Your body needs rest to recover. And as you will not be consuming many calories you will tire easily. Take care of yourself. Worry about the others later. ????

I am just ending week 3. No complications. I can tell when I dont get in enough fluids and protein because I get tired easily. I lost 28 so far. Week 3 for many there us a stall. And of course i hit that this week. But i expected it so its not a biggie. I know so long as I stick to plan and measure what i am eating, it will start to come off again. -

I was only given ice chips on day of surgery and didnt even think to ask if i could have more. Lol And didnt know about using gas strips til after i was home. I was kinda out of it i guess. I stopped pain meds day after surgery. They were giving me major headaches. The walking took care of the gas more or less. Just had a passing pang of pain when the gas moved. I would just change how i was sitting and it would go away. Or i would walk again haha -

HA! U r up quickly walking. They like us to start walking within 2hours after being moves from recovery. The pain for me was minimal. The air left over from surgery was closer to painful. And walking makes it go away so as soon as I could hold my head up, i asked if i could walk, and where are the ice chips lol. Bring your chapstick! Your lips will be dry. And i walkes w my ice chip cup everywhere i went. :-) Walk. Sleep. Walk. Sleep. Home. Walk. Sleep. That will be for a few days. Your first shower will feel so good. -

Depression after the Gastric Sleeve

Try to figure out what it is triggering your nausea as u eat. Is it texture, smell, firmness of the food? Try standing up, take a tiny bite. Walk away. Get your mind on another task. Dont bend over. No drink. Make sure you do not lie down soon afterwards. Go get another tiny bite if it holds. Put your hands above your head as you swallow. It may look goofy, and if your kids are there just shout hooray for mommy to make it not so strange to them. ???? Make a game out of it. -

Good luck and speedy recovery! -
A robe is a good thing to have, but not necessary. Can always wear a 2nd gown backwards. For home, buy plenty of fluids on ur plan for when u get back. U cant drive for several days so make sure u r stocked up.
