    Post op day three

@@@deetz71 The first few days are hard. But you will get through them, and come out for the better. Give yourself time to heal. It was a major surgery. Keep following your doctors orders. And remember we are all with you. You are not alone. There are so very many of us that have been where you are at. Big hugs hun.

    6 months Surgeversay

    Congratulations!!!
  8. Try looking for soy protein powders. Medifast is made from soy and has multiple flavors. I have a lot of left overs from doing that plan and even though it isnt as much protein in one drink (its closer to 12 grams per serving) at least its a liquid protein u can make with water.

Keep walking and that gas will work its way out. I had a massage about a week ago 4 or 5 weeks PO and asked her to work on my shoulder blades. It really helped finish it off. I just made sure she took it easy around my middle area so i didnt get any sore areas. It was fab!

I make soups with meat in it so I can get in more than one ounce. Lol Im not sure I could eat it otherwise. Ground is def easier. I forgot about cottage cheese. Ill pick some up tonite! And I cant eat scrambled eggs yet either. Makes NO sense. They r soft. Lol But I have seen a lot of folks have a hard time with them. We r not alone haha

February Sleevers - how are you doing?

Wow. I just walked 2.6 miles of hilly neighborhood. Up til now I've only done the somewhat flatter area nearby with lower hills. Woo hooo! Losing this weight is definitely going to make that trek easier as I keep going. I have a goal to make it to Disney in July and be able to walk the park aaaand ride a ride. Tall order. But I can DO IT! I will make a smaller goal of going to Six Flags and walking the park (I have a seasons pass) lol YAHOOOOO

    Sleeved today March 18

Yeah. My innards (lol) kept me laughing for awhile. They were quite LOUD. The, ugh, liquid in/liquid out lasts until you up your proteins or start on solids. It too shall pass. ????

Help! Turned wrong in my sleep.

I turned wrong once too and it took about a week to get over it. The pillows are a lifesaver.

Need to keep using your breathing thingy they give you at the hospital to keep your lungs operating well. And walk walk walk. Every hour or two. It will get the gas out that they put in during surgery.

You probably got a list of accepted foods from your doc and nutritionist. Clear soups, sugar free popsicles and sf jello. 2% milk. Water of course.
