How are you feeling as date approaches?

Thanks!! That is what my husband says as well. I have to look at it as part of the procedure. I understand why its necessary but when you hear that others didn't have to preop it makes you wonder/question if it's really necessary!!!!!! -
Boy that sucks!!!!! Had a very similar experience 10 years back when I went for a breast reduction. I was so excited to get those gigantic things cut off and after they got me on the operating table they discovered I was a "bleeder" and stopped surgery. I was soooooooooooooo angry. But in time they did do it again and everything was great!!! I will keep my finger crossed for you!!! Don't give up!!!

Do anyone add Protein to their liquid diet to feel fuller pre-op or will mess up my weight loss pre surgery???? I think this will be living hell!!!! Please help!!! How do you survive a liquid diet pre op???? -

It seems that anyone I have ever told about PCOS (including my Primary care Physician) has looked at me as if it was just an excuse on paper for being miserable and overweight. I was diagnosed with it a few years back, after a great ordeal with infertility. I had to have the tests, and take clomid to drop eggs. I do have two beautiful daughters now, and I am 33yrs. old. Done having kids... I am now ready to attack this weight. I am just about 230lbs. which is what I weighed on the day I went in to give birth to my second daughter in 2002. I am still battling many of the symptoms of PCOS. I am hoping that weight loss will help bring my periods and hormones more regular. Time will tell. My surgery is 10 days away and I can't freakin' wait!!!!! I am very mentally prepared and I am feeling strong!!! Anyone who has some wisdom for getting through the first couple weeks.... please share!!!!!!!!!

Insurance has approved and I have been wearing a huge smile ever since!!! It is hard to believe that in a little more than a week, my entire life will change. For the better. I am 100% aware that this surgery is only a stepping stone in the change process. I know that even after all is said and done... I could always fall back into the horrible habits I currently have. It will not happen to me. Life as I know it WILL soon be over!!! I look forward to the challenge and I am ready for it!!!
