Hi, I live in NH & am in my 50's. I'm a mother of 2 wonderful sons (30 & 17). I've been divorced for 13 years now & work as a Quality Assurance Associate for a major life insurance company. I love my job & my children!! What I don't love is my weight & the fact that my health is steadily declining. I want to lose the weight & become fit and healthy for me & my family. I'm at the beginning of my WLS journey. I've attended an informational session & have my consultation appointment with the bariatric surgeon tomorrow afternoon. I so hope I qualify to have my insurance pay for this surgery otherwise it will be out of reach financially for me. So far I've done some research & think I would like to opt for the VSG surgery. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all will fall into place so this can happen for me!! Wish me luck & I look forward to any information, encouragement, & support you may have to offer.
