Im not sure how others lasted for ten days on a liquid diet but Im on day five and feeling like I need something more or maybe Im bored. So I have had oxygenized water, smart water, regular water, apple and berry juice with no sugar added watered down, chicken broth, fat free milk with a quarter teaspoon of honey hmmm thats everything I think and am starting to feel like I need more. I have five more days on the liquid diet per my surgeon. How long were you on the liquid diet and did it feel like forever? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So after a week out of work and the fact that I have a desk job Im hoping to go back to work next week. I want to be prepared for my week and since I will be able to start having runny veg Soups and Protein shakes etc this is what I have done: I boiled different veggies and pureed them and portioned them off and froze them. I intend to take one with me to work everyday and just heat some Water with maggi and dissolve the veg puree in it to make a Soup. I bought the Naturals whey Protein powder from Dr Nutrition. So I got the vanilla and chocolate so I could have two scoops. I put half of both powders in sandwich bags and one scoop plus a litre of nonfat milk, small bottle of manuka honey. I will also bring some fruits and veggies for the shakes to try diff. Mixtures. I will buy a small toy blender I saw at the toy store that runs on batteries to take to work with me so I can blend my shakes. Thats all I have thought of so far. Any help is appreciated. February sleevers
fatima.mashaal replied to Kiwwi1991's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
It could be from all the fluids they pumped in as well as the gas. I would do some walking. I would think it would come off rather quickly. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Well Im supposed be ten days clear liquids including fat free milk - so no shakes till after the ten days are up and no yogurt either. I have had clear chicken broth but not too satisfied. I dont know if Im allowed decaf coffee or tea. I will check on that. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Aaah thanks you are right that was on the list - I should get some. I guess also today I cooked my favorite food for the kids which they love and I suffered watching them eat it. I know why I did this and I know I can do it I guess though it gets hard sometimes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was sleeved on Feb 27 so Im just four days out. I had horrible nausea and vomiting day one and two after surgery and was told it was the gas. I walked an awful lot and by day three I was feeling much better. Im on Clear Liquids so far and doing pretty well. I havent gotten on the scale after surgery. I think I will get on once Im two weeks post-op Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
