My friends call me Bird.  I started my weight loss journey in 2011. I had gone through the program and the day i was scheduled to have surgery I was on a plane to be by my dad's bedside. Dad recovered from heart surgery and I went onto lose my insurance, get another job, lose that job and insurance and am now on disability. So hear. i am 4 years later ready, willing and able and about 20 lbs heavier than when i started thus journey. I'm a registered nurse, previously working in a hospital in our local bariatric program. the irony. I requested a referral from my primary this week and so excited. I am eager to begin my new life.   :)
