Hello I am 53 year old single female, in the process of getting sleeved. Just waiting for the surgery date. I am very excited to be starting this journey towards a new life. I found this site on Google. I am hoping to find the support and mentoring I can benefit from and later down my journey pass along what I learned. I have been diagnosed with Binge Eating Disorder (B.E.D.). I had never thought of myself as someone with B.E.D. the word binge I always associated with thin person disease. But here I sit now having been labeled. I have joined a B.E.D. support group, ordered a book they suggested I read and now on the road to recovery, some days it's hour by hour some its minute by minute. But what I do know is that I will not allow anything or anyone to stand in my of becoming a better healthier me... I hope to inspire someone someday.
