    Your spouse absolutley should go with you. I was banded Nov 30th of 2007 and my spouse has been my supporter. I have lost 20 pounds in the first 6 weeks. Not hungry at all but during the recovery I had issues as I had not found this site yet. Now I feel that I could give some advice on what not to do right after surgery. Patty

    I thought it would never get here and after waiting forever, I was scheduled for Nov 1st, 2007. Geared up and ready to go and on OCtober 30th, got a call that my surgery had an emergency appendectomy himself and had to cancel. I was devastated. Waited it out and had it done Nove 30th, 2007 and doing great so far. Patty
