I did not read everyone else's replies but I'd say it is DEFINATELY time for you to seek some therapy...soon! And there is not a thing wrong with needing to do so... -
I have a BMI of 33 and am self-pay, getting sleeved in June. I'm only telling my mom and husband so slow weight loss is fine with me...won't be so obvious that I had surgery to lose the weight when the change is gradual. It's nice to find a group like myself, confident with our decision to move forward even though we aren't "fat enough" to everyone else! I'm ready to feel great in my body again!

Anyone whose goal weight is less than 100 pounds?
Nursejlcox replied to Essence46's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm joining your "under 100" club in June (18th to be exact), starting at 205 with my surgeon's goal at 150...bet I'll be a slow loser as well. But, slow and steady is fine with me as long as it STAYS OFF!!!!! -
I just had my consult with him last week, a good friend was sleeved 2 years ago and reached her goal of 100 lbs lost in 7 months...needless to say she HIGHLY recommended him! I think he is so nice! I am self pay and that is my only complaint, that his office hasn't been totally upfront about costs, they kinda like to bait-and-switch. But that's not him, that's his office manager. He is wonderful and seems to think that because my BMI is fairly low that I will do well...I'm a School Nurse and waiting until summer break so the wait is tough...June 18 is the date! Can't wait!!

You look absolutely wonderful...I am having the same surgery with the same surgeon in June...glad to have found your posts!!!

What is Your Goal Weight at 5'5
Nursejlcox replied to sukik's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm 5-5.5, getting sleeved in June. Just saw the surgeon last week and he said 150. Last time I was 150 I went to Cancun, wore a bikini and came back pregnant...lol!!! That was the bottom of the yo-yo, and here I am back at the top, AGAIN! Can't wait to stop playing this game and stay fit and healthy, FOR LIFE! -
