    Hey guys, my surgery date is March 26th and the thing that is concerning me is the post op thirst. What are your experiences? Any time I have anesthesia I wake up dying of thirst and I assume we can't drink directly after surgery ? Any stories or advice ?

    Yes, after 32 hours of labor I think you are right! Maybe if I do have to wait they will let me chew gum at least lol. I'll get through it. Thank you.

    Wonderful to hear.! I have the lap band now but it has slipped so we are doing the conversion. Trying to be "normal"at meal times especially at gatherings has always been so difficult for me as no one knows I have the lap band.. I'm very excited to get back on track!!

    So today was a bad day.... Learn from it, check it off and try and do better tomorrow .! I think we all know this surgery is more than likely the right choice.!! You can do it stay strong , stay beautiful... My surgery is April 26th so I know where your coming from.! Hang in there.!!!!

    You will do great and yes I'm so excited and scared as well. The pre op diet doesn't scare me ... The post op diet is super crazy to think about! Please update me when you feel up to it !
