Hi my name is Sherri. I had my surgery 3 1/2 years ago. I lost 80 lbs and never felt better and was excited to finally get to a healthy weight and be one of those success stories. So now here I sit 3 years later and have gained almost half my weight back and not sure how to fix it. My calories have increased some but not that much. I talked with my doctor and he said my body is in starvation mode and holding on to everything. His suggestion was to increase the protein and I would start losing again along with excerises. I'm really struggling and getting depressed about this issue with no luck of any changes other than gaining or losing only a pound. I'm just stuck and don't know how to unjam myself. I'm hoping that someone can help me meet my goal.
