I am soo excited for u!! DH and I decided to run a 10k at Disney world in Feb 2016 and we are beyond excited! We have just started training and I am sore but HAPPY! Congrats on your placing!! I am just hoping to finish!!

I was wondering about the stomach/pants issue also and I just hit 4 weeks out and everything started falling off. Didn't think about swelling! Thanks guys and gals! -

I, too, can eat anything...I did over eat last night and I won't do that again. My stomach said stop and I went a bite or two more and boy, did I regret it!! I am 3 weeks out and I eat chicken, ribs, just about any protein I can get my hands on the portions are just WAY smaller than what I usually eat. I am still losing the weight so things are going great... -
I am a week out from my Bypass, I want to hear from you all, HONESTLY , do any of you regret doing this? I know how I feel BUT.....

I am 10 days post op, haven't had any pain or nausea. I have lost 12+ lbs already, have been pulled off one of my diabetic meds, my cholesterol meds and am taking 1/2 the blood pressure meds... I would not change ANYTHING at all. I am loving life and ready to see the new me at the end of this journey. -

My NSV for today...I decided I wanted a new outfit for a church style function...went into Dressbarn...14w-26w on one side and 0-16 on the other...I was finally able to buy on the OTHER side today!! -

I wanted the lap band a year ago when I started looking into WLS but many people have probs with it...a friend of mine had Gastric Bypass and her reasoning was she wanted something permanent....that made more sense to me than putting something that could slip and possibly need removing later...it would make all the weight loss and pain of surgery a waste...I only like to do things one time...just me -
I did the same thing! Mexican, Chinese, Mexican, Italian...smaller portions but I needed to do that...for me.

I haven't been on pain meds since the day after surgery. Surgery March 3, meds (morphine) March 4, nothing since...I think I am doing well...no pain, no nausea, hopefully it stays this way... I think each person reacts differently...or at least our bodies react differently to surgery..

I bought myself a set of appetizer utensils made by Fiesta (I collect Fiesta) to remind myself to take small bites...tiny forks, spoons, and knives...I can't wait to be able to use it!!

I only had a 5 day liquid diet...surgery is tomorrow. I am READY! Between Slimfast, Adkins, and the shakes, puddings, and smoothie mixes from my dr, I really haven't had time to get bored w the food. Keep up the good work...the end result will be sooo worth it!!

I am also a March 3 surgery in Houston, Texas. I just found out last week I've been approved, have pre op dr visit on Tuesday, Feb 24 and then surgery on March 3...it's going fast but at least I don't have time to get real nervous!
