ok this is me before and after 3 months lap band :cry :hurt

today i saw a friends belly that she did it before 1 1/2 year and she lost all her overweight! i just saw a little knob at the place of the port! really nothin important! and as she said its only visable when she lays down..

Hello dear Bandsters all over the world, my name is Maria and i'm 33 yo, from Athens Greece. I'm banded since 6th of July 2005, and i lost 32 lbr so far. I feel great and sometimes anxious when the scale doesn't move. Pretty normal i guess . Before 3 days i did my 1st fill, im on 4 cc right now! I would like to have a little pic of me dunno yet how i will do it! Have a good weekend all.

Hello Andy! Congratulations for your surgery! i lost also 6 kgr the 1st week! I guess you still feel some pain, but don't worry next week will pass to history :-) my procedure cost me 2.500 euro it was 7.000 euro totally (band+surgeon,hospital,tests,anesthegiologist) but my insurance covered 4.500 euro. and of course the fills will be free. i had my 1st one before 4 days.. i feel wonderful so far!

wonderful job! just 1 kgr for being just 100!! ahh i want soo much to stop having 3 numbers at my scale lolol

yes i meant vommiting .. i just wanted to write it softly :eek: and yes im also back to liquids! the thing that was impressive was the.. sound of the ."rocket".. was soo strange and different

or what other name has! yesterday evening i ate 120 gr boiled of this and 1 big spoon of cottage cheese, i chewed slow, small spoons, i didn't drink water while i was eating, BUT i forgot that its very fibrous.. OMG i had my 1st "rocket"! aarghh i felt like a bomb was inside my stomach! if i had not the band would be easy with one "rocket" i would be fine .. but i was suffering for 7 hours !! i scared soo much! i was affraid that the band will slipp or i ll have resorption.. im very chichen heart in such things ... i called my doctor and he said that maybe we must remove 1 cc from the band.. it depends how it will go today .. to be honnest im afraid to put anything else but water in my mouth!

I was never a fat kid or teenager.. i was always a skinny girl till my 27 years.. i had pcychological problems and i was hurting myself this way ... i was suffering by panic attacks and i still have anxiety, im still on meds, (Xanax, Seropram), im still working with myself to overcome the memories of a violent father, a careless mom and the war i had against me of my husbands mother and sister... the good is that i know how and why started my eating disorder.. Band helps me with the symptoms.. being fat! ..but the real problem i fight it with my psychiatrist and myself

my weakness food WAS fried potatoes, and nutella!

I had the same problem a couple of weeks, and after the 1st two weeks of my surgery, i guess because my body was in shock because of the surgery and the liquid diet! i used to feed it with a .. whole pizza and 2 plates Pasta and seems my body wanted some of its old nutrition.. so my body revenged me with a 2 weels plateau... Now that im 7 weeks im losing again .. my point is don't worry! im sure you re losing inches now but very soon you will losing also weight!! I'm a daily scale user lol because it keeps me on truck! im still very new with the Band and i need to know whats goin on daily! later i will not use it that much :-) lovz
