My favorites are Lean Dessert Protein Shakes! They are yummy!! I also ordered some powdered P-nut butter from Bell Plantation and that's great protein to add to milkshakes! -

I went to my first seminar in Sept. Finally got ins approval last week. It took lots of calls to the ins co!! I can't get a surgery date until all my test results go back to the Dr. -

nutritionist, psch, med records for the last 5 years. Monday I go in for ekg, x-ray, blood work, abdominal ultrasound and upper GI. All this has to be done before I see the surgeon. I just got my ins approval last week. -

I wish I had my date but I'm still waiting on ins approval.. slow, slow I've read a lot of posts and I think everyone gets nervous before surgery. I probably will, too. But it will all be worth it to lose the weight and keep it off for the rest of your life. I can't wait to get out of plus size clothes!!!!!!!!!!! -
I haven't had mine yet so I can't really advise you....but think about it and weigh the good and bad. I think the good will win you over.

fast or slow--as long as you're losing!!! -
I've been on a low fat diet since Sept. I'm still waiting on ins approval but I think I've got a good start! Everything I've read says it helps the liver shrink if you lose weight before surgery.

I have an after surgery ??? I live alone and am very independant. Will I be o.k. by myself after surgery? I haven't planned on having anyone staying here with me.

I've gone thru all the process so I guess I'll just pay the 500. I certainly don't want to start over with someone else. I just wish the ins would hurry up and approve it so I can get a date!!

I hope to have a Jan date. I've done all my nutrition and phsyc visits, now just waiting on ins to approve me. I was approved for bypass but now I'm getting the lap band so Ins has to approve this one.
