Hi Kiki, My surgeon said that he wanted to give it at least 6 months for the stomach to return to "normal", as as close as possible. He, and others, have found they have less chance for issues such as leaks, etc. if you wait at least 6 months. Makes sense. Good luck to you too!

I just joined this group and I have really enjoyed reading all the posts. Very useful information here. I hope that I can contribute as well to others as you all have done for me. My surgery is this coming Monday. I had the Lapband which was an absolute failure. I had that taken out about 7 months ago in preparation for this! Nervous, anxious, excited...all at once.
