The same thing happened to me. It is bad enough when I am home I am eating Quinoa chips because we can. I got the sleeve on Nov.7th, 2014. Recently when I went to my daughter's house she had cake. Before the night was over I was taking pieces of her cake. Before surgery I had will power. But now I want to feel normal and try things that are bad for me. Breyer's Carb Smart Chocolate Ice Cream was on sale at the grocery store. So I bought 2. After the 1st day I got disgusted with myself so I brought the ice cream over to my grandchildren's house. What is wrong with me? I definitely am tempted to eat sweets or I enjoy eating those chips. I enjoy chewing. Please help me with some good suggestions! Thank you. I really appreciate your feedback. I am 69 years young and I decided to get the sleeve. I didn't want to get something done to me that would allow me to cheat with food. I didn't want to do this twice. I am very happy with the sleeve. It was the one for me. My daughter and I both went to the Seminar and we were both convinced the sleeve was the way to go. I had no real pain as it is done lapo.....I was up walking the next day and didn't need any pain medications. The 2nd day I was somewhat nausea. They put medicine in my I V and I was fine. I didn't need any medicine for it the next day. I went in on Friday and I went home on Sunday and I was ready to go home Sunday. I hear with the sleeve you can eat most foods. I also had a hiatal hernia that Dr. Keith Kim dissected and took out. I haven't been this happy since I was 18 years old. I thank God for making this possible for me. They took my insurance and my daughter paid $600.00 fee to Dr. Kim. My sister paid $360.00 for me to see Dr. Kerry Ferguson, Ph D and receive clearance from her to be able to get the surgery.

I am sure you were very hurt by what your husband said! That was very rude to say that to you. It sounds like he is a very jealous. disrespectful and abusive person! A real man would not say that to you! Who does he put first in his life? It should be the Lord first and then he would think before he speaks! You should be second and then your kids! It sounds like he is insecure and afraid that you are going to look great and you will see what a jerk he is! All you can do is change yourself! Leave him up to the Lord! Congratulations for taking control of your own life by getting the surgery! Put you and your needs first! I moved from New York City in 1968. That is so Awesome that you are 160lbs. right now. I had the sleeve on Nov. 7, 2014. I am 204 lbs. right now. Hi my name is Gerry I had a gastric sleeve 11/7/14 and I haven't been this happy since I was 18 years old! I went to a Awesome doctor, Dr. Keith Kim at Florida Hospital Celebration. It was done lapo... I had no problems. Didn't need pain medication on day 2 or since. It is the best thing I have done for myself in along time. I was 274 lbs. when I started the plan. I have lost 65 lbs. so far. I am off my diabetic mediation, off 1 blood pressure medicine, taking 10 mg. instead of 20 mg. of crestor. My arthritis is so much better. I am walking over 5,000 steps a day. Now I go out every day. I am enjoying living in Florida. I have been here since 1968. I was from the Bronx, N. Y. Write and let me know your story.
