You will not get hungry for a long time. You have to make yourself eat at specified times. If you don't want to be sick, you will start taking your vitamins and drinking your water. This is not an easy fix. It takes a lot of hard work! Most doctors make you drink 64 ozs. Of water so doing 32 should be a breeze. Try using a straw. That worked well for me. I liked lean body protein. The ready made kind. It is lactose free. Banana flavored was my favorite.

Also, chew your food thoroughly. When you think you've chewed it long enough, chew it more. And don't drink while eating. I had better luck using a straw to drink my water. -
I tried the 5 day pouch test. It does work. I need to do it again because i have gained 26 lbs back in a year because of a stupid sweet tooth.

I'm 5'6 and i got down to 138. My doctor was fine with it. Kept it off for 3 years and this last year I've gained 26 pounds. I'm disgusted with myself! My sweet tooth came back with a vengeance and i don't feel any control over it. Some have told me that it goes hand in hand with menopause, which i have just entered. I'm trying to get focused again but it's not easy. I guess I'd say to you, do what makes you feel good. Go with your goal. Take the vitamins you need and be happy :-)

I'm new to this site but am going on 4 years post op. About a year ago my sweet tooth came back and with a vengeance! I am disgusted with myself but can't seem to stop. Anyone else have this problem and what did you do? I have gained 25 lbs back.

I'm coming up on 4 years post op. In the last 6 months to a year I've had an uncontrollable sweet tooth. Anybody else have this? If so, what did you do? I've put about 20 pounds back in and I'm pissed at myself. I just can't stop, it's frustrating me to no end.
