Hi, my name is Connie and i had my gastric bypass March 2011. I did not qualify weight wise but health wise it was recommended from my doctors. I had liver disease. The Dame disease that my mother died from in 2009. I was told that I would need a liver transplant within 5 years. My doctors wanted me to have gastric bypass because they had great success getting rid of liver disease. I lost 75 pounds and now I am happy to say that I no longer have liver disease and the doctors believe that any damage to my liver had probably been repaired. In the last 6 month to a year i have gained 20 pounds. My sweet tooth came back with a vengeance and i can't control it. I'm so sad and mad about this and I don't know what to do.
