Has anyone used Wesley Turton from Lagrange to do a gastric bypass or sleeve.
-
I am getting ready to hopefully be approved for a gastric sleeve. Initially the doctor told me since I have a stricture I would be better off doing the bypass. I did not want to go through what it entails and feel like I would be better with the sleeve. As long as I take the ompressezol I am fine. Has anyone gone into have surgery having a stricture already and did fine??? Waiting in Alabama

thank you for the comments. I am just to have to trust that I will be ok, and that by taking my medicine it wont be so bad. I just don't want to go through having a bypass because of many reasons. I feel like the sleeve is safer and it will have just as good as outcome

Well one reason is, is that I have talked with people who have acid reflux and were told they needed bypass and went with the sleeve and did fine. That is why I was wondering if anyone on this forum had one to begin with and how they did?

58 y.o. female looking for others my age who have had gastric bypass

I am 58 years old and will be getting a date in the next several weeks. I have a esophageal stricture, and my doctor feels like the sleeve is not the best option, that I should do the bypass. I am nervous of course. would love any suggestions. recently I have had trouble with my ankles swelling, they said I have venous insufficiency, no blood clots, I hope this doesn't interfere.
