February 18th. From Louisiana and having surgery in Tijuana, Mexico. Excited and nervous. Good luck to you all!

I had something a bit similar. I was given my gastric sleeve procedure date for the 18th (next week!!) last Friday. So since then all the way up to the day of my surgery, I have to be on this specific liquid diet. And it's killing me!! I want to have so many food funerals at so many places!! But I can't. So now I just feel miserable because this diet leaves me feeling hungry all the time. But I don't want to risk my doctor telling me he has to post pone the surgery. I'm done fairly well except for one setback last night. I'm back on track now and hoping to stay on track this time. You will get through to it!! Just be strong! Keep reminding yourself that this procedure you're having is something you want and it's to change and better your life!
