Feel like I can eat A LOT!

What type of foods are you eating? Soft/carbo foods you can probably eat more of where pure ptotein you will get fuller faster....... :-)
  4. Its normal and natural to make a mistake every once in awhile, I know I have. Just the next day clear your mind of the day before and remember why you had the surgery, and maybe it wasnt just to lose weight, for example I was pre diabetic so its very important I don't fall back into old habits from my overall health and longevity. So just forgive yourself and start fresh and move on, also documenting as stated above everything you eat is wonderful.

    AZ Sleevers

Hi im in Az! WLIA. Are there any local support groups in Gilbert Chandler area?
  6. Emma, how much food can you eat at a time? For example how many cups? I'm confused myself, I don't think I've stretched my sleeve but I'm still pretty new, but I read that when they do the vertical sleeve they removed the stretchy part of the stomach, so although you can stretch the stomach I've heard that it would be very hard to stretch it past 2 cups. What is everyone here think?
  7. Awesome! Im in Gilbert. I got my surgery December 4th by Az Weight Loss Institute. Im 40 with 3 kids. My biggest challege is head hunger and emotional eating/grazing. Im doing okay with exercise, water intake and protein intake. How are you feeling!!!
  8. Anyone in the Gilbert, Chandler, Awatukee area? Looking to form a little support group
  9. First, congratulations on surviving breast cancer! Secondly, I was sleeved December 4th, no dumping for me however I do have terrible GERD. There's no malabsortion srestriction but I do keep up on my Vitamins, vitamins are important!! Its a "tool" I still make the daily decisions however best choise I ever made. Im on ppi for gerd, I think if that doesn't correct itself I'll probably have to have the revision to bypass. I don't know the waiting period, does anyone else know? Good luck!!! Thank you in advance :-)
  10. Hi, I have two questions, I'm new so forgive me if its been asked before, does anyone find that eating dairy even if no fat causes additional GERD or acid reflux? Other question is I am 8 weeks out, 80 ounces of Protein per day, 100 ounces of Water per day. What is everyone doing calorie wise, esp at 8-10 weeks out. Thank you
  11. Thank you. Im in that range, 600-800. One thing I noticed I did to add in more calories since Friday, because I was hovering between 450 and 525 only, was added in dairy and since then my GERD has been out of control. I think I need to take it back out and add in something different. This is terrible...I even doubled my acid reflux med and it didnt help at all.
