Any sleeve friendly restaurant in Florida or suggestions for traveling just over 4 weeks post op. I am taking my protein powder.

Two weeks and had a cold since Sunday. I am super tired and having hard time getting fluid down. When did the bad taste go away?

I made some thin soup with chicken soup unjury. I used one can of northern Beans, 13 oz of chicken broth and 1 scoop of unjury. I boiled the beans and chicken broth for 20 minutes. Then I let it cool and added the unjury. I then put everything in my nutribullet and blended until liquid and smooth. Then I divided it into 3 oz servings. It seems to work and it isn't sweet. Also I can get down chocolite banana Protein shakes. It seems not to be sweet as some shakes. Tomorrow I go back to work and then follow up with my regular doctor in the afternoon. I will be doing walks at 10 am and lunch with my coworkers.

I am having surgery on March 16. My husband doesn't really want me to have the surgery. I have no doubts that this is what I need and I have tried to tell him about the process and positives. I have encourage him to come to support groups with me. Anyone else have this problem with their spouse?

My husband has been more supportive since I have gotten home. He has taken me walking and been helping me with my shots and to make sure I am taking my pills. And on my case about protein and drinking water.

I am not having any pain just finding it difficult to drink all liquid. Still have a bad taste in my mouth. I am guessing that is normal for awhile. I finally got some protein down yesterday with protein soup.

Duffslove I have my surgery at 5 a.m. on Monday with Dr. LaMaster. How are you feeling? Any advice for me.

My doctor says the recovery is a little longer than the band. I had my band removed and scar tissue removed last July. My doctor likes to wait atleast 3 months after the band is removed to do the conversion. I was planning on last December to have the sleeve but we had to change insurance at work through process and now having it in March.

I had the band also. I had it removed last July. It had slipped when i was going through infertility hormones treatment. They pulled out all fluid but it still slipped. I am starting a 1200 cal diet for pre surgery tomorrow.
