Thanks for all your advice, friendly ones and not so much. Yes I know I got myself into this and can anyone truthfully tell me you didn't slip up once or twice since you've made this decision? I did call my dr and he told me I've done fine, just be sure and do my best to stick to the liquids for the next 7 days. Fortunately, unlike some of you (Jazzywoman) not so sympathetic readers, he didn't crucify me for making a mistake. I thought this site was friendly and helpful but I guess thats only as long as you are PERFECT and follow all the rules exactly. I will probably move to a different site now, I noticed someone has already moved my December 17th date off the list but thanks to you that were supportive! STILL GONNA BE A MERRY LOSER!!

HELP! I'm on day 7 of my 2 week liquid diet and I totally blew it today. I ate a huge lunch - just got started and couldn't stop. I'm allowed 1 small meal each day for the first 7 days but this was by no means a small meal. Will they stop my surgery because I didn't follow instructions? I've done real good all week, but now I'm really dreading next week of the full liquid diet, cause I am STARVING!! Anyone able to help me out?

I worried up until I started the liquid diet but its not bad at all, I finally see a light at the end of this weight loss battle! :clap2: Good luck

Hi Ellisa, Yes, the first week I have two liquid meals on one SMALL meal in the evening. Starting next Monday it is full liquids. Glad you are making it good!

I'm from Missouri, having surgery done on the 17th by Dr. Chris Edwards in Springfield

I'm on my 4th day of the liquid diet - surgery is December 17th. Surprisingly I haven't been starving. Had a few cravings but I'll drink some chicken buillion (5 calories a cup) and seem to do ok. I'm greatful for the small evening meal, next week will be a different story! But I'm determined and have all my family supporting me! Good luck everyone.:ranger:

December 17th is my date - can't wait. I start my liquid diet on the 3rd, kinda nervous about that. Having it done in Springfield, MO by Dr. Edwards - anyone else from that area? I'm not very computer smart so I really don't know how to add my name to the list - so if someone wants to do it for me it's fine.
