I have been following a lot of Dr Weiner's videos on youtube, and I am trying to think Veggie first....but veggies fill me up so fast. I am pretty happy with my progress....and.....very happy to say that for the first time in many years I am under 200 lbs!
I am 198 as of today!!
So total loss of 65 lbs. I had surgery at the end of October, I lost 10 lbs in the 2 pre-op weeks. My goal is 175-180 ( I am just a sliver under 5'10" tall) so i think this is a decent goal for me.
That is great! Good for you.
I am at 56 lbs lost and really struggling. I lost 1 pound this month. Very scared that this is where I will be stuck from now on......

Do you think it is possible to reach your personal weight loss goal in a year, if you are following the guidelines of your NUT? I would like to see 1.5 lbs. lost per week...... that is doable, right? If I lose 1.5/week I will def reach my goal before my 1 year anniversary.

I am from MA too! I had my surgery 10/30/17 with Dr. Chahal at Newton Wellesley! Excellent experience!

I keep track of my exercise and food on the app "Lose It" It is amazing! I love it. It tracks everything, so, I looked at my week, this week. My calories lost were almost 15,000 from exercise, and my calories from food were about 3,000 and yet that dang scale doesn't move..... But I will not get discouraged, I will see results probably next week. I miss the days after surgery when the scale went down DAILY!!

Hang in there! I’ve been keeping my activity level as high as possible. I lost 23lbs in November. My sleeve was 10/30 and I’m down 45lbs since the surgery. I lost 30lbs pre-op. Are you getting enough Protein? I’m getting 65-75 grams a day.
Thanks ConnieSB! I am getting on average 70-85 grams of Protein, and I am trying to exercise (cardio) 30-65 minutes a day. I am hoping to see a nice weight loss on Monday. I only weigh myself once a week. Fingers crossed!

I am experiencing a stall, it is making me frustrated. My 3 month dr. appointment is on Feb. 1 and I was really hoping to be at least 60 lbs. lighter. December was difficult with so many social events. What is the most anyone in this group has lost in one month?

I weighed in on Wednesday and my total weight loss is now 41 lbs! Thrilled! I also work out 20 minutes on the Peloton bike, 10 minutes on the elliptical and 20 min on the treadmill, all after work. In the morning, around 7:30 am I take my dogs for a walk for 20 min. I would love to get down to a 50 lb weight loss by Xmas. Keeping my fingers crossed!

We were sleeved the same day - I had a stall for a couple of days transitioning to the soft diet. Don’t get down. As of today I’ve lost 33 post surgery. I lost 30 before it. I’ve been focusing on Water - I cannot get as much down as you - that’s a great number! I am getting in 70-80 grams of Protein a day. Hang in there!
ConnieSB, how do you get so much Protein in? I am struggling with getting 50 grams in.

I take two ducolax in the morning and two Smooth Move capsules at 8:00 pm daily. It works daily. A little cramping, but I go everyday. If you cannot find the Smooth Move capsules, they also make it in a tea.

I love it since it's a total body workout and so far I've had great results come out of it. Or days when I'm not really feelin' it or I have some slight pain on my right side, I just walk for 30 minutes on the treadmill.
I was sleeved on the same day!! Your progress is amazing!! When do you start on soft foods?

I was sleeved on 10/30 and I am so ready to be done with the blended diet. I go on 11/30 for the next phase! I eat scrambled eggs with a little pepper jack cheese; Oikos Zero yogurt; Premier Protein chocolate, and drink about 56 ounces of Water. I tried crystal light, but it actually made me crave sweets. I have been losing weight steadily, but actually had a stall the last few days!

I went to Newton Wellesley Hospital and was extremely impressed!

I am really struggling with getting the last 30 lbs off! I am getting discouraged. I missed my 6 month check up, and am too embarrassed to call to make a 9 month check up appointment.
