psychology consult time
Angelpoet73 replied to Okinawa girl's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Mine took one hour. I had to answer a 400-something test, and then I spoke with the person about 15 minutes. It was a breeze. Good luck! -
I am a teacher, and I was planning on having my surgery this summer. BUT it looks like June will be too full, and I don't really want to push it back to July. I have had a c-section and gall bladder surgeries before, and it didn't take very long to bounce back. I was wondering if anyone went back to a desk job fairly early?

I was told today that I was boring. I laughed at her. It was such a breeze. I don't know why I was concerned. I really expected a couch. Lol

Psychological Evaluatiom
Angelpoet73 replied to heartonmysleeve82's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had a $60 copay, 344 questionnaire, a few other forms and about 10-15 minute visit with the doctor. I did all of this in about an hour. You should be going to the same place I did on Fannin Street in Houston. Remember to ask for a Saturday appointment and good luck. -
SLEEVED IN HOUSTON TX
Angelpoet73 replied to heartonmysleeve82's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I go to the True Results on Red Oak, but I'll be having my surgery in Houston. A friend of mine goes to the True Results in downtown Houston and loves the staff there. Good luck! -
Impatiently waiting...June sleevers?
Angelpoet73 replied to Seahawkgirl's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hello, all! I will be 42 on March 2nd. I have been married almost 24 years. I have 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl (ranging in ages from 10-20). I have two grandchildren, also. I'm an English teacher at a small Texas high school. I'm looking for June to be my date as well!☺ -
I have a patient advocate with True Results. She contacts my insurance for me and makes sure that everything's in order. She calls me and emails me often to let me know how things are proceeding.

I'm at the same stage. I go to see my nutritionist in two weeks during my second visit. I have to go four times and get a psych evaluation. I'm nervous but so ready.
