I suggest a large hiatus hernia. After that surgery it is normal not to each large amounts of food for fear of vomiting or hiccups. Good luck -

Hi I am due to have my sleeve on Feb 17 and am scared. I will go through with it but finding it hard to visualise the long term benefits for the short/medium term pain. Is anyone else is having the sleeve on that day? I am not super obese with a starting BMI of 36. I am now 33-34 while on pre-op diet and losing. My problem is I love food. Always have even as a baby! But I do have pre-diabetes and some elevated blood pressure 140/85, cholesterol, back and leg pains etc. All the usual things:) I am 61 and tring to prolong my life. Hope it works.
