Since middle school, I've been overweight. My Mom and i tried crash diets during my high school years. A year before my wedding in 2007, I was at my highest weight of 275 lbs. On the day of my wedding I was 165 lbs. I went on a very strict 1200 calorie diet. My weight has fluctuated since then. I was up to 240 when I got pregnant with my son about 3 years ago. I delivered at 265lbs and lost about 20lbs after I had him. Fast forward 2 years later and I am once again at my highest weigh. I've tried lots of diets and exercise regimens, but I cannot keep the weight off and I'm so tired of this battle! When I found out my Insurance covers WLS, I regained a little hope that maybe I could finally win this struggle and go into my thirties healthier for myself and my family.
