I suffer from constipation occasionally, and when I say suffer, I mean exactly that. Giving birth was easier! Lol. I struggle to get my water amounts in daily and really have focused on that. I also started taking Benefiber (Walmart version). I put two teaspoons in whatever liquid I'm drinking three times per day. This has helped me. It's not that I don't have the urge, it's just difficult to go. I hope this helps and you find some relief! ????

Rumbling stomach when I sip liquid
icunightingale posted a topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I've been lurking around this site since before my surgery and have found it to be helpful. Now, I need to see if anyone else is having this issue. I had a RNY on January 22 nd....complications afterward of bleeding in my pouch resulting in six units of blood. I'm fully recovered from the events and feeling great except for one thing....my stomach churns and rolls every time I sip liquids. I think it's hunger pangs. I'm in my third phase of the program which is soft food. I've followed the guidelines strictly without cheating. I stop drinking at least 30 minutes before eating and wait 60+ minutes afterward. I eat protein first and stop when I feel full. But since I started the transition from puréed to soft food I have had this rumbling. If I don't drink it's fine and I feel satisfied. I am finding it to be a challenged to get my water in with this annoying effect. An one else have such a sensation? I'm pretty strong minded, but don't know if I can ignore this the rest of my life! Plus, I'm worried my stoma may have stretched or something crazy has happened?? -
I had RNY and was told NSAIDS are off limits due to potential for ulcers. I know someone who took them and developed a boat load of problems including an ulcer. She ended up with a feeding tube!
