  2. One of my first posts on this forum was in the "What was your straw that broke the camel's back?" thread. I just went back and found it... "Going to a birthday party with my 7-year-old daughter for one of her friends and the activity was hiking up a moderate/difficult trail. 3 minutes in I felt like I was going to pass out but I was trying to keep on trucking like it was no big deal. The kids were all running ahead, the other moms were just walking along and chatting away, and I was just focusing on trying not to sound like I was huffing and puffing and two steps away from dying. It was the worst." That was an embarrassing afternoon. I think we went about 1/4 of a mile and it was pure torture. But now I'm down 75 pounds and yesterday I went back to that mountain with my son and his Cub Scout den. I conquered that mountain!! We hiked about 3 miles and I kept up with the group and was only out of breath on one particularly steep part! I felt awesome when I got to the top! Hiking is so not my thing and I didn't enjoy it at all but I did it!

    What are some of your NSV

    I can wrap a towel around myself and there's NO gap! I can finally wear my wedding rings again. I took them off when I was pregnant 5 years ago and they haven't even been close to fitting again until recently. I got to shop in Target's regular clothing section yesterday!

    228.2 I didn't make my goal of 225 but I still lost 17 lbs during the challenge. Looking forward to the next one!

    I miss salad?

    I was cleared for salad at 7 weeks. I'm 3 months out now and eat them often. My little salads are full of protein, at least 20g. I have my veggies but I add bacon, hard boiled egg, grilled chicken, and cheese. I chop everything up tiny so there's a mix of protein and veggies in every bite. I also use Bolthouse Farms yogurt dressing.
  8. Your protein looks great. I'm surprised that you can eat all that though. At 3 weeks I couldn't even finish one egg in 30 minutes. I think I struggled to get in 400 calories at that point. I'm now almost 3 months out and just upped my calories to 800.

    July sleevers?

    I was sleeved 7/27 and I'm down 40 pounds (65 including pre-op). I'm pleased with that but wish it was more, I've been through two stalls that each lasted two weeks.

  11. I eat a boatload of shrimp. My current fave is buffalo shrimp with blue cheese yogurt dressing. So much protein in shrimp!

    I'm down 63 pounds and I'm still wearing my original bras. I haven't even moved from the last hook, so I'll be wearing these for awhile longer. So you may not have to replace bras as often as you're thinking.

    July sleevers?

    Fairly regular. I feel like I'm doing everything right and don't know what I could change, so it's just frustrating. I eat mostly chicken and shrimp, get 80-100g of protein a day, and average 600-700 calories a day. My surgeon said I should be getting more calories so I forced myself to eat more these last 4 days and averaged 800-900 calories. I ended up showing a .4 gain at my weigh-in this morning. (I know it's not a true "gain" and more just a fluctuation.)

    July sleevers?

    I'm pretty frustrated but trying to keep my head up. I'm 9 weeks out today and down 33 pounds since surgery. I've had 3 weeks with no loss at all, a 2 week stall that started around 3 weeks and now I've been stalled for the past week. It's really hard not to get down about it. Eta: Also meant to mention that I lost 14 pounds in the first week. So really I've only lost 19 pounds in 8 weeks.

    That is my addiction! I drink 30-60 oz per day!
  18. Awesome! I went to my daughter's preschool open house last night and I had to sit on a plastic chair made for a 4-year-old. I was still a little nervous but it didn't give me major anxiety like it would have when I was 60 pounds heavier.
  19. What does your plan say? I was on full liquids at a week out. I had 3 8oz shakes a day and would sometimes have a snack of jello, pudding, or potato soup.

    Fav drinks

    I am completely obsessed with Starbucks Passion Tea (unsweetened). I drink 30-60oz a day. I can't drink plain water so this is what helps me get my fluids in. It's an iced herbal tea and tastes kind of flowery. 0 cals, 0 sugar, and 0 caffeine. It is so freakin' good.
  21. Mine was 9 days late and wicked heavy. It lasted about the normal length of time though.
