Hello. I found this website simply from searching for support groups for post bariatric surgery. I had my gastric sleeve surgery on 1/26/15. My main reason for wanting the surgery is because I was diagnosed w/ type II diabetes when I was 29 years old. And as of recent, it had started to become out of control. My weight as well as my A1C. I have 2 young children and I want to live as long as I possibly can for them. I'm about to reach my 40th birthday in a few months and I was starting to feel like I wouldn't live a very long life by the way I was eating and gaining weight. I want to see my children become adults. I want to live a long life.
