From my experience its really not possible, given strange things do happen at times but the fills are pretty straight forward and whoever does it should always check the Fluid before hand..if for no other reason then to check for a leak or evaporation of the fluid.

Hi RiceGuy, So sorry to hear of your problems, but it sounds like you and your surgeon are working together for a productive solution. I wish you the very best.

Silly Surgery Question
Lana24 replied to Yvette1026's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
That button top comment, I can see how one could become confused...lol Medical Degree or not if they ask you to do something "weird" think twice....lol Just like I told my kid, a dentist does not need to give a breast exam....lol -
I see a lot of extra calories in just what you are drinking. Good luck

Is salad a slider food?
Lana24 replied to pookiemp's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Even after a year I find that when I eat out I can still eat twice as much as recommended. So I try to avoid it. I don't know why its just a fact. -

What to expect regarding weight loss and eating....
Lana24 replied to mom2cjpx4's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
As the other posters said, everyone is different. My doctor said ideally when I hit my sweet stop I should lose 2 pounds per week. I have never had that happen. -
wondering how eating is like a year later... a little scared?
Lana24 replied to heidsz's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi there and welcome, I was sure from the beginning that this is what I wanted for myself. I wasn't "afraid" nervous a little but that is it. Yes I am very glad I had it done. I still eat with my family and I go out to eat. The only difference is I usually take some home with me now. I order whatever I want and eat until I don't want anymore. This is a complete journey for me, its not a miracle and weight will not "fall off" like magic. I was disappointed the first year, while I was only looking at actual pounds I missed most of the point. For me personally I had to stay off the scale and get moving and start having some fun, this is when the journey began to become interesting and less of a struggle. THis was like a make over from the inside out for me... Good luck on your journey and congrats on a new way of life. -

I think I'm losing my hair...
Lana24 replied to Chloeglowy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I had the same problem early after I had surgery. I went to "hair" vitamins, extra protein, protein shampoo nad conditioner and I also eat raw almonds for the natural biotin. -
I know the article seems harsh, but reality is much worse. What happens to young graduates that are being discrimated against in the work force because of their weight? I think this course is no different then clothing and makeup consultants. It is meant to open your eyes and show you another way. I think three hours a week is a reasonable amount of time and graduating from the class only means seriousness on the part of the student. Although weightloss can be difficult, its still not rocket science. A little education goes a long way.

For those who have gotten to their goal weight...
Lana24 replied to jessicakolman's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am still on the fence about another surgery. I have been large on top all of my life and actually I am looking forward to smaller more managable breasts. As for surgery, only time will tell... -
I have a heating pad, but did not need it. I used it once, my port got too hot and I was not a happy camper! LOL So, be careful your new hardware gets hotttt...

Hi Marina, We all feel your frustration, but again this is not a magic band. It took me 6 months to lose that much weight. Sounds to me like your doing good. But it also sound slike your in bandster hell right now. It will all calm down, please give yourself time to adjust. You will be just fine.
