I still default to Quest but do not particularly like them I have been cycling in and out of my routine since 6 months out. Bars are convenient but I feel pretty artificial. Most do not give me enough protien for calories.

Big decisions Each step or phase is a chance to reset celebrate and or adjust care. You both have great insights.

A Tale of Two Arm Lifts (rs & ms.sss)
Stella S replied to ms.sss's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
So after my arm lift I stopped growing underarm hair. At all. I always had super light hair but now it is gone. What about you??? My arm lift was Sept 2018. -
I only count water. I either get like 100 ounces or 30 ounces. I am much better while at work than on days off with the water aspect

My process was extremely short as I was private pay as well maybe three weeks. My surgeon did not require as many steps as yours... I think it’s OK fast is good I pondered on the surgery for years. I do not regret a single penny or a single moment. Best of luck to you.

My Plastic Surgery Thread
Stella S replied to sillykitty's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Hope this finds you a bitt better. I was just reflecting on how quickly this has happened for you. Pretty awesome. My procedures were sealed with glue rather than stitches and did not scab that glue took months to come off and when it dead I switch to scar cream or tap. Hope in the silver gauze makes a difference especially in the areas of weeping. I resorted to a picture journal during my last procedure - thigh lift with subsequent complications and infection. Take care of yourself remember you get one chance to heal! Question- what is an am lift? Referenced in your post on random thoughts. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 -
The biggest emotional rollercoaster with this surgery
Stella S replied to Soon2bSleeved12/2019's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Glad you’re almost a month out so exciting. Sorry that your medical doctor referred you for a procedure that they later stated they did not think you were appropriate for this is huge amounts of neglect and what a mind cluster. I would never be able to trust that provider again for anything ever ever. Sometimes I’m going over my medical history with a new provider I become self-conscious - in June I had a substitute PCP to clear me for skin removal surgery. Imagine my surprise when she said you go girl!!! Do whatever it takes to live large I was stunned and I’ve held that comment close to my heart for more than just a fleeting moment. Support feels good. I hope you have a lot of it in your journey. -
Glad you are here for support. 2012 was a bit ago. What works for me is logging my food and exercise. Also not drinking the 30 min before or after meals except wine - which I drink with meals. Also getting all that water in during the day. Thirst for me is like hunger. As an aside all morbidly obese persons have a eating disorder specific to mental illness. Mostly just a lack of knowledge and bad habits or complicated co ca-morbidity I did not have A nutritionist which would have been great. Good vibes sent to you!!!

This thread is great. The compression garment minimized chaffing but I skipped the bra for a bit. Best to all in healing. 🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨 -
Hoping things have leveled out a bit. It is a process.

Bread promised to be my friend but was not It still lies to me. One thing is that since my surgery I cannot stand the smell of the preservatives and most bread products and tortillas. I have become hypersensitive so I’m limited to either fresh or frozen varieties. I decided back in 2017 when in France I can have bread and croissants. I can have bagels in New York City. Bread still calls my name.

All my lovely pals becoming even more lovely. Sending good vibes -
Chain reaction? Sounds as though more than the fill changed.

Sister abandonment sucks!!! Mine freaked out as well but ended up adjusting. She worries about all medical complications I have never revisited her reaction‘s but remember I chose to keep this and PS private for a reason. I understand your reasoning 281%!!!!!

As a person changes and the perception of self changes relationships too adjust. Can’t even imagine that the adjustment comes with exciting change and the part that is painful and uncomfortable. I would not know what to do if he had changed as much as I have - even the good change. My hubs and I took on challenges and activities together - I think having goals together helped. Bottom line is if you don’t find a way to come together you must. Love Green Tea remark to come from aplace of observation awareness and curiosity.

Fun fun! Glad you are healing and love this journey. -
Very excited for you. Definitely should be in short sleeves by summer time. Cat woman - The hardest part is minimizing arm use to reduce Scarring. Ask in the healing process.
