A little rant about the grocery store and overly friendly men. LOL
Stella S replied to Creekimp13's topic in Rants & Raves
So yes, I lost weight and comments increased 10 fold - I get it no mostly do not mind. The hang up for me is that I do not feel hot. My niece said face it line up 50 or even 1000 women your age or 5 years younger and you are either the number 1 or 2 in looks. bi do not feel it though. That is what gets me. -
I Take carbs and subtract fiber for my working number - 1 cup of broccoli has 6 g carbs and 2.4 fiber so I roll with 3.6 net carbs and 31 calories. Note I am 6 years post surgery and in mo longer in loss mode - just maintaining.

The link between having enough and over eating is real plus if it feels true to you that is good - and enough proof.

Like this - after rapid weight gain when ill I never lost it. Looking back all my diets were carb heavy. Food fell into a treat - Who knew that many cookies had between two and 500 cal! At times I ate out of boredom and other times it was what my palls and I did. Now we may hike or paddle rather then meet for dinner, happy hour or coffee and a scone. The Why.. too many diets and a trashed metabolic situation plus carbs ignorance.

Bad service all all around! Hang in there - as a person that always needs to adjust the order I frequently do not give any reason just state I need whatever changes and smile... I hate bad service and do not have to apologize as a paying customer. -
Hi hi hi. April 2015... still holding at 135 and think I lost muscle and gained fat as my clothes are a bit tigh. Hmm it is a thing. Always a thought and salways work in progress

I fall into the basics work to trim my regain - water not wine, cheese not with a cracker. When I focus on water and protien I drop the weight. Removing over 30 carb works. Admiring those who do not have to continue the work!
-
Never say never.. and good for you for knowing that it will take time and effort!!!!! I was on the board’s quite a bit in 2015 2016 as well. I said I would never stop exercising I said I’d know would never regain I said I would never be a know it all. Life is humbling. Still still stable weight but need muscle back. What RX are you using? Lots of support and admiration for you

Healthier, But Lonelier
Stella S replied to kc892020's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
KC that is a lot of food intolerance - maybe get a second opinion?? Also what about a different support group? Depending on your area you mAay be able to join another or an activity group. On line exercise - something to promote dopamine production. You have gone through a lot of changes - change is tough Maybe counseling, I hear every day that these are uncertain times! If you look at the national group takeoff pounds sensibly - TOPS they have categories for WLS and maintainers for those at goal. You are not alone. Best -
Is It Safe To Go To The Hospital During Covid 19 Pandemic?
Stella S replied to Numbheart's topic in The Lounge
Good luck today and yes your providers have gone in more days then not since March. Health care workers are more accustomed to precautions -
I run and walk. I miss elliptical and gym time but just not ready.
