Time? I simply am envious since I now imagine a super organized Bad Wolf kitchen. By last night I worked 12 hours, cooked tuna steaks - those big juicy ones on the grill -served atop spinach, baked a flourless almond cake for a dinner tonight and prepped an egg casserole for the spouse to have today and then I collapsed. Now I have visions of Bad Wolf kitchen as an assembly line of precision and efficiency while I have dishes in my sink and I head to work... Go extreme sport called life

Patience is the hardest. Especially when waiting for the body to adjust. Agree stick to th plan before adding. It takes a few days to flush the system.

Breathe... and then try to breathe again. Work is really taking too much of my time. I am still trying to finish exercise from yesterday... and I too have weekend work shifts where all poop has broken loose preventing breathing. Ok done breathing back to managing the storm.

Stella S replied to EmilyJune's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Meat Nd cheese rolls with peppers or celery or even lettuce are my lazy day go to. If the meat is coming from the deli get the nitrate free low sodium option Imagine a bit better than protein bars. -
Happy healing all!!!

What, you had NO surgery complications?
Stella S replied to Healthy_life2's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
Over 4 years and feel great. It took me 15 days to return to work I heal pretty slowly and struggle with pain from procedure. But that went away and I have hit every single one of my goals. Every single one of my dreamy goals. -
So sorry Kate. Consider a complaint with state licensing board as well. Seems to be practicing outside his scope

Best lenders for medical loans?
Stella S replied to mousecat88's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I did read here about someone who took a loan out against a retirement account. May be a less expensive option. For me it was physically easier - financially better - and more comfortable to space it out over 30 months to rebuild sick time. at work. -
Arm lift - What was your self pay total?
Stella S replied to TexasMommy80's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
I looked at the receipt and 7900. I think DC is expensive as is my PS. Maybe I need to go to Kansas!! Scars... I had arm lift Sept of 2018 and after 10 weeks in compression have kept tsilicon tape on them to flatten and provide 100 percent sun block. The scars are well placed and less noticeable. Still tender to touch finally consider laser scar treatment as an option - effective within a 6 month window. I rejected this option as my arm skin is so thin. I did not pursue it after the procedure as I am pleased with the scar progress Now it is at that 6 month mark and less effective. It helped knowing it was an option. Plus for me scars are jut a part of my journey!!! Still no need not to keep it minimal. Whew - long post. -
OMG. Mine too!!! Size wrinkles and even sex advice. As in what man would ever want to bed with her because... and she thinks of it as caring and love. Honestly.

Take it off! Take it off! Take it aaaaallll off!
Stella S replied to MarieR's topic in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
Agree. Also I ended up ordering a size down. I had many liquids and popsicles When is it scheduled? Maybe a fan to keep air circulating. A shower chair and a laxative!! I had tummy and bum plus breasts and needed some help. Can you maybe get someone - a LPC to come help with wound dressing and or showering? 2 hours or so a day. Price in my city is about 35 an hour. Either way you have this. Note. I used Maxy pads as wound dressing instead of cotton gauze and tape. Best to you!!!! -

Glad to get the update Seems weight will always be a struggle for me. I am up to 132 and will give Keto a go. I regained following skin removal on my arms and September and have not lost it. 😝. -

Has surgery 10 days ago, I was so excited Now Iam so depressed
Stella S replied to Temeka Silva-Perez's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I know. Could someone include the funk AKA depression in all surgury pre-op?!! It will pass Every surgury has left me blue. Even totally unrelated ones. Hang in there. -
For me it was a trade off. I was still curved. Also the excess skin went into my bra - the result was still curved. The healthy me cared less about my breast size. Declaimed - I went for plastics.
