Christi6972 replied to Christi6972's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
At the beginning it seemed i fought with diarrhea and now this. . I do take a lot of meds that probably isn't helping, guess I know what dr I have to go to next. .justajenn, that sounds like a very complicated plan. I had this problem before surgery, was hoping it would help. My other health problems I am not getting the best nutrition I should be. I pray this is going to get better soon. -
Should I be concerned with problems at week 5

Today is wk 5 since surgery, I have been having issues of not having BM. The longest was 10days, and now I am only going 3-6 days, I have been suffering from nausea and having trouble eating. Has anyone else had this issue? I just feel life crap...literally. ..and don't know if I should check back with my bariatric doctor or just go to primary doctor. Or is all this normal? Help please! !!!! -

Hi everyone m my name is Christi and tomorrow I will have finally made it thru my first week. My surgery was on Monday January 19, 2015. This process took me right at a year to get here, I kept wondering why things kept happening, to change everything. Now I've seen what and why God kept putting things in my way , until HE had it all exactly the right way for me and for things to work out the way it did. This 1 st week has been challenging to say the last, staying on the clear liquid diet , yet smelling the wonderful food being cooked food everyone else my tummy rumbles just crying out for something to eat. I've had good days and bad ones, besides all the pains and cramps of getting rid of all the gas, I've been able to get out of the house to walk, maybe to Walmart , I just hold onto cart for dear life remembering why I did this again. Then the next day I can barely move. I have great support from family and husband who can't wait for the new me too get here. But I do have to remind him, honey I'm still healing it's only been a few days ago, remember. . Today is one of my wore out days, totally drained. Yesterday we went to get me more of this "yummy" Isopure liquid to drink and I got in and out of the car several times, did a few stairs and w with that walking several stores. I was exausted by time we got home. I pray week 2 is a lot easier, as I think ahead of how my life will be changing, and what my food intake needs to be, counting calories, or carbs, or even fat content , isn't that part of what got me this way? So I hope to pick up some pointers on cooking great healthy food, new exercise and mostly how to change my thought process on how I look at myself, from the inside out. Thank you all for letting me ramble on, looking forward to meeting lots of new people and hopefully making new friends along the way.

What Was Your Final "straw That Broke The Camels Back"

Getting to the point that I not only gave up on me but on my girls. Deciding to let them live with their dad so I could work through my own mental anguish. My crushing my bones under my weight , I now have to finish dealing with surgery on both knees, my neck, and possibly my lower back again. I have always been my own worst enemy. Can I learn to be my own cheerleader too?
